A perfect place to vacation with our daughter and her family! We had plenty of space to gather around the table for meals or games, as well as quiet spots to read and relax. We loved Palmetto Dunes, as it was quiet and close in proximity to Shelter Cove. Being located in the middle of the island was also a big plus for us! The room was clean and appeared exactly as advertised in the photos. We valued the ability to park close to our building for easy access in and out. We also loved the easy walk to the beach with great beach access. The pool area wasn’t too crowded either and we could always find available lounge chairs. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation and would recommend this property as a clean and family friendly place to stay! ##### Hayley R. The condo is amazing. So clean and well maintained. The updates are so good! We flew to Hilton Head so we had no beach chairs - but there were some great ones provided by the owner (please make sure you put them back if you stay here so I can use them again next year!). The complex itself is great. My husband enjoyed the exercise facility and the pool and hot tub were great. Beach access is amazing! Parking is great too. I have not one bad thing to say! The unit is exactly as described and depicted in the listing. The overall Palmetto Dunes development is very nice and has so many amenities. Presently there is some construction around the pool area but the construction is not visible or audible from the unit itself. We didn't have any reason to communicate with the owners, but that may be because they anticipated FAQs and provided all of the information beforehand in emails. I definitely recommend this unit and would rent it again. ##### Carol T. We were disappointed with conditions of the condo. Rugs in foyer & living room are very dirty. Vertical blinds in guest bedroom and living room windows are missing several slats - we used towels to block light at night Doors covering washer/dryer off tracks and very annoying. Ad to rent stayed recently updated but it was clear no updates have been done recently ##### Diane S. The unit offers a view of the Hilton hotel parking lot and a VERY small view of the ocean. Communication with the property owner was good and check in went smoothly. We had trouble with the main living room TV and master BR TV. I had to call the cable company for assistance. We were able to get the main TV working, but we could never get the MBR TV to work. The second BR TV was fine. When we got to the beach one of the beach chairs was broken and I had to walk back to the unit for a replacement. To be fair I was advised that one of the chairs was broken, but I assumed they would have disposed of it since it was useless. We had trouble operating the microwave. We gave up and stopped trying to use it. The MBR shower is tight so we opted to use the guess room tub shower, which had better water pressure. Unfortunately the drain was clogged and we couldn’t get the tub to drain properly. The property owner was very communicative, which was helpful, but she lives two states away and really was not able to be of much assistance. Overall, we had a good week and chose to ignore these issues. ##### Mike K.
