Ocean One 219 - Oceanfront 2nd Floor Condo

  • Oceanfront condo sleeps up to 8 people with a king bed in the master bedroom, two doubles in bedroom 2, two queens in bedroom 3. With decks off the living room and master bedroom, guests staying in Ocean One 219 enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and its white sandy beaches. After hours in the surf, vacationers rinse under the outdoor shower located on the complex's private beach walkway and then dip into the oceanfront swimming pool. Ocean One has added a brand new grilling area to the complex just beyond the pool.
    Ocean One is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Ocean One is one block from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. This up-to-date property has a spacious kitchen and outstanding views that make Ocean One 219 an excellent property.

    The Ocean One pool is heated in October, March, April. Ocean One permits parking for two cars per unit.

Unit is great location. 2nd floor near pool and path to the beach. When on porch in the evening you can hear bands playing at Tiki bar next door which we enjoyed and when you were inside you couldn’t hear the bands so wouldn’t interfere with any early bed goers. My only complaint would be that the air conditioning wasn’t super cool. Fans were provided in bed rooms so it ended up working fine. Kitchen could use a few cookie sheets. Would definitely stay here again.

Great first visit to Hilton Head

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our week at Ocean One. Great location and very comfortable for our group of six. The only issues we had were: 1) a tech/TV issue, but the mgmt company sent someone to troubleshoot it very quickly; 2) two of the shower curtain liners appeared moldy; and 3) the kitchen supplies weren't up to par. The baking sheets in particular were completely unusable and I was shocked that they were kept in the unit to be offered to guests. Other than these minor things, we had a great stay and are likely to return to Ocean One, although I probably won't stay in 219 again.

The property is great we have stayed at ocean one before. Great location close to shops etc. this unit is in need of an upgrade. It needs to be scrubbed down and kitchen items cleaned out. For example there were 3 broken coffee machines there no plastic cups but “300” mis matched plates.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Terrific lication; oceanfront condo. Having been in the beach condo rental business, there were some small things that could have easily been upgraded. Not enough hangers in the closets ( queen room for 2 adults only had 6 hangers). There was no tea kettle. Toilet seat / cover in Queen room was old and black marks showing through. The TV's were impossible to work. Batteries were either dead or there was a communication issue. We ended up watching foitball and movie on our laptops. None of these are big ticket items and could easily be remedied. The fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom wad a plus.

The beds were comfortable to sleep on and the bathrooms were all in working and clean condition. The location of the condo was perfect. We had an awesome view of the ocean and the pool. We had a perfect view of the kids when they went to swim in the pool on their own. It was a short distance walk to the beach as well. We had a very nice experience at the condo.

Convenient location, excellent beach

We enjoy staying at Ocean One. We can walk to everything - grocery, dining, ice cream. The beach is awesome, and we like having lifeguards. We are a family of 10 and have plenty of room for all in the 3-bedroom and everyone has their own bathroom. We also cook quite a few meals at the condo and appreciate the full kitchen.
