We have stayed in numerous Windsor units & this was one of the best we've stayed! The decor is nice but simple (we do not care for heavy beach themes). The unit felt very nicely cleaned when we arrived but since we stayed during the CoVid pandemic, we wiped everything down for our comfort levels. That being said, were assured by the management company (we called them prior to arriving) that the cleaners were taking extra cleaning precautions & we didn't notice any uncleaned spots as we cleaned.
The items in the kitchen (pots, pans, knives, etc) were all decent quality - often you get obvious IKEA or dollar store items - which made cooking daily more convenient & comfortable. The tiled bathrooms were both very nice, with the master bath having both a hand held & rain shower spout. The view of the beach from the balcony was fantastic & you can enjoy listening to the ocean waves as you relax on the rocking chairs & adirondacks. Since the balcony is not pool facing, you get to enjoy watching the deer and bunny rabbits visit this quieter section of the property. It’s such a treat!
Overall, we had a lovely week long visit to the beach & were very comfortable in this unit with our 2 elementary school aged children. Our only complaints are that the pull out sofa mattress is very uncomfortable (we ended up covering the sofas in sheets & pulling out the back pillows for our kids to sleep on instead) & the sheets are rough, even in the master bedroom. That being said, we felt the master bed mattress was comfortable. Investing in a little bit nicer quality sheets & a decent sofa mattress would make it perfect!
