The 139-square-foot tiny home includes water access, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking gear, and a private bathroom with a gas-heated shower, hand basin, and eco-friendly cassette toilet. IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home, "Whitestone Retreat 2" available with 24 hours' notice. Guest Access: Guests have full access to the tiny house and the entire fenced outdoor area surrounding it. Feel free to use any space within the boundary of the property. The Neighborhood: Ten minutes by car from Te Anau township, Whitestone Retreat 1 by Tiny Away sits right at Fiordland National Park’s edge. Start your day with a short drive to the glowworm-lit Te Ana‑au Caves, part of the Te Anau Glowworm Caves experience, then loop back past the teal lakeshore to the Bird Sanctuary at Punanga Manu. Stretch your legs along Rainbow Reach tracks or dip into lakeside cafés in town. Head fifteen minutes south for Lake Manapouri, born from ice‑age carving and watched over by cathedral‑edged peaks.
