We love staying at this home. It’s clean, comfortable and cute. We have an event that we come into town for, so unfortunately we only sleep there. Would love to have more time to really enjoy it.

We had a great time exploring Franklin and surrounding areas. We enjoyed all the hiking trails and waterfalls nearby. The house was close to both shopping and waterfalls and had everything we needed. Excellent long weekend!

Friends getaway

This place was amazing!! It was so beautiful and clean inside! Special touch was walking inside to Christmas tree and decorations with stockings that had our names on them! The whole stay was perfect and we enjoyed our time there. My mother just moved to Franklin and when there is a bigger group of us visiting her we will book this place every time. I can’t wait for the next time I can stay here!

Wonderful trip

Whitfield hideaway was everything advertised and more! It was clean, beautifully decorated and well equipped for everything that you need for a quick weekend getaway or a more extended stay. Jeannie was great to work with and very responsive when needed. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great and there were plenty of big fluffy towels. We hated when it was time for us to leave and can’t wait until we get to come stay again!!

Perfect home away from home! Everything you would ever need in a vacation rental has been thought of by the owners. Home is exactly as described & so comfy. Loved everything about it! Secluded but not far away from stores & restaurants. Hope to make it back again soon for a perfect getaway!

I was thoroughly impressed with the ease of check-in. As a group of 6 the set up of the bedrooms was optimal. The common space was plentiful and worked perfectly for 6 people to eat and lounge around. No issues with cleanliness. We were overall very pleased with our stay and would stay again!

I would give the Whitfield Hideaway an 11 out of 5 stars!!! It was exactly what was explained and more. The beds were sooooo comfortable and it was a home away from home. Perfect for family outings!!!

The stay was wonderful. The homemade jam that was left was delicious. So delicious that we bought up all the jam that was left for sale. Enjoyed watching the deer in the mornings. Overall a really great place. We plan on booking again when we go to visit our daughter at WCU.

Dream mountain property with owners who are rare gems!

Gorgeous home that is the perfect balance of seclusion and privacy and just a few minutes drive to town. We enjoyed seeing the deer in the mornings and evenings. The porch was a big hit with my young adults. The shower in master is absolutely heavenly! Beds were comfy and the little touches around the house made it feel homey instead of like a typical vacation rental home. We were able to get Walmart, pizza and door dash deliveries to the house as well so that was a big plus for us as we were on a time constraint. Jeannie went above and beyond for us and was so personable and a joy to talk with! I wish all vacation rental owners were like her!!!
