"My husband and I missed check-in time, but I had called ahead to alert the front desk. Check in was very smooth as a result and we had an upgraded room which was fantastic, especially given this was our honeymoon. The fireplace was a lovely touch that made the evening extra romantic. The shower in the suite was a double shower that came in very handy as well. The property was very clean and the included breakfast was a very pleasant surprise as it wasn't continental. We would definitely consider another stay at this hotel."

"I love the beautiful rooms and lovingly preserved building. Every step in the cliff house was like a walk through time. The front access garden was beautiful and unique; it felt like you would discover faeries in the flowers. There were only 2 issues i had if you could call them that. The electric sockets were the loosest I'd ever used. The parking situation felt like a hold up either i paid 3 dollars an hour to park on the narrow street or 20 dollars a day for valet garage parking. Valet was cheaper. The hotel has close access to walkable shops and entertainment. "
