"Enjoyed our stay at such an iconic hotel. Will definitely stay again and looking forward to seeing everything fully refurbished. Had great view of estuary from our room. Staff all lovely and helpful. Breakfast was very nice, great choice available with lovely sea views. Lovely bar area, again with great views, nice to sit and chat late into the evening."

"The hotel is luxurious without being stuffy. All the staff I encountered were friendly, professional and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and I especially enjoyed the cookies. The communal areas are fantastic, so comfortable and brilliant for reading a book with a view. The breakfast has lots of options and is delicious. Looking forward to my next visit."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay at the Harbour Hotel; reception staff were friendly and informative as were the bar staff. The estuary room we had was nice, with every amenity we needed, including a free gin (would have been even better if the tonic was free). Perfectly located to walk into town and lovely views of the river from the restaurant / bar. Breakfast was good, although there is a £10 charge for cooked options."

"I spent 3 nights for work, the location is amazing, the hotel is old but in a good condition and clean The staff were terrible, the lady who did the check in was not bad, but others were not friendly at all when I go in or out saying hi they either do not answer back or just a cold hi in return The lady who did the check out was very bad ,I came and said : good morning I want to check out,, she didn’t look at my face, didn’t say good morning, jut : room number? Said:103 , she( didn’t look at me at all): ok , I was expecting: thank you, I hope you had a good time with us !!!! but no, nothing at al."

"Good staff , food good , but no hot water in the sink or bath to wash in the morning it was stone cold. I told the manager who was very apologetic and said he would get it looked at."

"Hotel room have beautiful sea view and breakfast is simple but delicious. Walking around 10 minutes to high street. Hotel location is good for regional scenic places. Around 1.5 hours driving distance. Staffing is helpful."

"Great weeks stay. Breakfasts were superb, great choice. Ate a couple of nights at the hotel,evening meals we had were very good. Hotel in a beautiful setting."
