Olathe Cabins
Overall, our experience at the cabin was very good, and communication with ownership was great. Our family had to slide the date of our arrival and departure, and ownership not only responded very timely, they were able to accommodate our change, which was very appreciated. It should be noted that this is one of four cabins in this location, besides the other three cabins here (which share a very large circular gravel entry), the nearest house is about ¼ mile away, which made this location feel nice and remote. The location of the homes can be difficult to find at first and don’t show up well on maps, so make sure and follow the directions provided by the owner in their check-in document provided prior to your arrival.
The Cabin itself is very nice and new, and the accommodations within cabin are nice and well kept. The way the cabins align, the back porch space seems pretty private from the other cabins, and the view from this cabin is really nice (seeing mountains in the distance). This location served our family well as we wanted to see The Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park (less than an hour from the south entry), and see the Colorado National Monument (about an hour from the cabin). We brought our two dogs, and this location was nice for them to roam around. Overall, we were very pleased with the cabin and location, and if we were to come back to the area we would certainly stay here again.
