It's a 50 m2 apartment, part of row-houses, that has 1 bedroom and can host up to 4 people. Chersonissos' center is only 10 minutes walk, Koutouloufari 3 minutes walk and the beach 15 minutes walk. Located close to the highway makes the access from Heraklion airport more than easy, while it helps exploring the biggest part of Crete. Our home is located between the center of the famous summer resort, Chersonissos, and the scenic traditional village, Koutouloufari, where our guests can find beautiful beaches, as well as interesting local activities. Moreover, our home can guarantee your relaxation, one of the most important aspects of any holiday. Chersonissos center can be reached easily by a 10 minutes’ walk. So that means that you have quick access to all the essential amenities as supermarkets, groceries shops, bakery, coffee shops, ATMs, pharmacy etc. However, the location of the house (a little outside of the center) can secure the essential conditions for privacy and relaxation. The house is a 50 m2 apartment at the ground floor of three row houses and has a big terrace for enjoying your morning or afternoon drink, as well as a private parking place for your car. The apartment has a big room in the entrance, where you will find the living room with a big sofa that can be transformed to a double bed, the fully-equipped kitchen, the modern dining place with 4 seats and a 50 inch television with cable TV . Moreover, there is a bedroom with a double bed, a big wardrobe and one more television and the bathroom, in which you will find a big bathtub and a washing machine. The house is also equipped with two coffee machines (both filter and espresso), microwave, toaster and a hair-dryer. The terrace is rather spacious, with a view to Chersonissos center and the sea and has a big table with 4 chairs to enjoy your drink or work peacefully. The flowers and the view will secure the calm environment that is an essential part of your holidays. The location of the home is ideal for holidays. Except from the close distance to Chersonissos center, it also provides easy access to the highway. That means that the house is easily accessible from the airport of Heraklion (only 15 minutes drive) and also gives you the chance to explore the biggest part of Crete. Heraklion city is only 20 minutes drive and most of the beautiful beaches of Crete are less than one hour drive. Great communication before we arrived. The owner left us water, fruit and a bottle of lovely Cretan wine. And even popped in after we had arrived to check we were ok. The apartment is exactly as the listing with great sea view and outside dining and loungers. Nearby (few minutes walk) are shops, bars and restaurants and of course the amazingly friendly and lovely Cretans. It takes about 15 minutes to walk down to the sea. A taxi from anywhere in Hersonissos back to the apartment was about 8 to 10 Euros. Der Kontakt war zwar nicht persönlich, aber wann immer wir eine Frage hatten, bekamen wir kurzfristig eine Antwort. Wir durften früher in die Wohnung als vorgegeben und haben unseren Aufenthalt auf der schönen Terrasse mit Blick auf das Meer sehr genossen. Im gemütlichen Dorf Koutouloufari, was in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen ist, gibt es reichlich Tavernen und Bars mit Dachterrassen um den Blick auf das Meer zu genießen und zahlreiche diverse Geschäfte: Lebensmittel, Souvenirs, Schmuck, Handwerk. Der größere Ort Chersonissos ist in 15 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es fährt auch eine Bimmelbahn... Wir empfehlen dieses Appartement gerne weiter und würden auch wiederkommen. ##### Alexandra Z. It is spacious, clean, away from any sounds from nearby villages allowing for sound sleeping. A highlight of our stay was the Monday night festival in old hersonissos, a 30 minute walk from the apartment. It is a lively festive area with live music, dancing and many wonderful restaurants. A must- do restaurant is also Steki which is a 10 minute walk from the apartment. The proprietor George is charming, the hostess is endearing and the food is delightful, explaining our return for a second dinner. The rooftop restaurantants are also charming. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations, restaurants and beaches of the area of Crete that we were able to explore. Es liegt in der Nähe von der Hauptstadt und dem Flughafen Iraklion. In der Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche Hotels, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Durch die zentrale Lage sind andere Inselteile gut erreichbar. Das Apartment hat einen eigenen, separaten Eingang. Allerdings ist es aufgrund der angrenzenden Wohnungen nicht ruhig. Die Einrichtung ist sauber und praktisch. Es gibt W-Lan, Klimaanlage und Fernseher. Der Check-in hatte sich etwas verzögert. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war herzlich und stets hilfreich. Es ist dort noch ursprünglich und es finden sich auch viele gute tavernen und genügend läden. Besonders empfehlen möchte ich das Bio Locale mit ausgezeichneten einheimischen Produkten, mit der zuvorkommenden Anna. Sofia war nicht vor Ort, aber extrem zuverlässig mit Schreiben. Obwohl es von meiner Seite gar nichts gab. Alles hat wunderbar geklappt. Auch ohne Auto konnte ich mich gut bewegen, der Bus fährt ja gleich die erste Strasse runter nach Chersinissos in 10-15 min. zu fuss und verbindet Heraklion bis Agaios Nikolaos. ##### Christine Z. It is situated within short driving or walking distance of supermarkets and bakeries, beaches and restaurants (the airport and highway – although relatively close – are inaudible). Sofia is a very friendly and committed host, who is approachable for any kind of questions or when in need of recommendations. If anything, one or two sun loungers on the patio would be a welcome addition to the otherwise complete features of the apartment. ##### Rebecca F. Kleine liebe Gastgeschenke haben uns überrascht bei der Ankunft. Frau Lagoudianaki war stets zu erreichen bei Fragen. Man hat eine tolle große Terrasse und einen schönen Parkplatz vor der Tür. Teilweise ist es etwas hellhörig, aber die Häuser sind alle sehr dünn gebaut, und wir empfanden es nicht als störend. Das tolle ist man kann vom Berg noch schön aufs Meer schauen und die Gegend da oben ist so ruhig und schön! Ganz tolle Tavernen mit super leckeren Essen gibt’s fast um die Ecke, sowie Bäcker und kleine Läden für den täglichen Bedarf. Kann ich nur empfehlen! Wir hätten uns allerdings eine oder zwei Liegestühle auf der Terrasse gewünscht zum Lesen und entspannen. Aber das braucht ja auch nicht jeder. So waren es für uns 4 super Sterne und ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt 😊 ##### Judith R. Wir waren zu zweit unterwegs. Die Wohnung hatte dafür die ideale Größe. Sie ist modern und liebevoll eingerichtet. Uns fehlte nichts. Es war spürbar, dass dem Vermieter unser Wohlbefinden am Herzen lag. Alles war gut gepflegt und sauber. Moderne Klimaanlagen gibt es in beiden Räumen. Das Umfeld ist angenehm ruhig. Alles Nötige ist in Laufweite. Links oder rechts wenige Meter die Straße entlang gibt es kleine Läden, die alles fürs Frühstück bieten. Den großen Supermarkt den Hügel hinab haben wir gar nicht benötigt. Der Ortskern von Koutouloufari ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Dort gibt es zahlreiche gute Tavernen, die wir fast jeden Abend genutzt haben. Wer es lebendiger mag, findet alles ca. 20 min Gehminuten entfernt direkt am Meer. Ein Auto ist empfehlenswert, da die schöneren Strände nicht in Laufweite sind und die Insel wirklich sehenswert ist. Die Betreuung durch die Vermieterin ist sehr gastfreundlich. Kontakt besteht vor, während und nach dem Aufenthalt. Fragen werden sehr zügig beantwortet. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Wir können das Appartement und Kreta auf jeden Fall für einen Urlaub empfehlen. ##### Danny H. Wir waren das 1.Mal auf Kreta und sind über diese Seite auf das Appartement von Sofia gestoßen...zum Glück! Denn besser hätte es uns nicht treffen können! Bereits vor der Anreise kümmerte sich die Vermieterin via Mail und Whatsapp um uns mit Tipps für Ausflüge sowie einer Wegbeschreibung mit der das Appartement vom Flughafen aus nach ca 25 Minuten Fahrt gut zu finden war😊 Am Appartement stellten wir schnell fest, dass es genauso schön war wie es auf den Bildern versprochen wurde! Es war sauber und sehr liebevoll für uns hergerichtet...wir fühlten uns gleich herzlichst Willkommen! Auch während des Aufenthalts war Sofia stets ansprechbar und wäre bei etwaigen Problemchen sofort zur Stelle gewesen... Das haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen...da es rein gar nichts zu beanstanden gab! Eine Mischung aus höflicher Zurückhaltung und dem Wissen,dass wir immer einen Ansprechpartner hatten. Ich würde sofort wieder dieses Appartement mieten und kann es ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen! Die Lage des Appartements ist gut! Es liegt etwas oberhalb von Hersonnisos, was zu Fuß in ca 10Min erreichbar ist! Hier kann man abends schön zum Essen oder auf den ein oder anderen Cocktail ausgehen (ich empfehle das NoName! Dort gibt es gutes Essen, leckere Cocktails und eine sehr nette Atmosphäre!). Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für sämtliche Wünsche gibt es dort ebenfalls genug! Außerdem kann man vom Appartement aus in das Nahe gelegene Malia fahren, wo sich weitere Restaurants, Bars, Clubs und Geschäfte befinden..und der Strand etwas ruhiger und schöner ist... Man hat mit dem Appartement abends die Wahl, ob man gerne das bunte Leben in Hersonnisos oder Malia möchte oder seine Ruhe auf der gemütlichen Terrasse mit Meerblick genießt! Wir haben eine Mischung aus beidem gewählt😊 Nahe des Appartements gibt es ein kleines Geschäft, das sich morgens gut zum Brötchen holen eignet, da es ca 1Minute entfernt ist..für einen größeren Einkauf empfehle ich jedoch den größeren Supermarkt, welchen man nach ca 5 Minuten Fahrt den Berg hinunter erreicht... In unserer Zeit auf Kreta waren wir viel mit unserem Mietwagen unterwegs und empfehlen gerne einige Orte weiter: die Lassithi-Hochebene, Elounda, Agios Nikolaos, Elafonisi (auch wenn die Fahrt sehr lang ist) sowie Malia. Am Ende waren wir wirklich rundum zufrieden und sind immer noch von der Freundlichkeit der Kreter sowie dem Appartement begeistert! Das war sicher nicht die letzte Reise nach Kreta!
