Lovely hotel, very peaceful but near town. Staff wonderful, breakfast great and we had 2 evening meals as well. Room was spotlessly clean. Our room had its own pool, which was lovely. Well placed for exploration - we hired a car and saw the whole north coast in 5 days. Very relaxing holiday !

This hotel took our breath away from start to finish. The staff were so welcoming, helpful & go the extra step with cold flannels, welcome drinks & recommendations for days out. We have just returned from a 1 week holiday at the Amirandes Grecotel in Gouves, whilst we had a very nice stay in the most fabulous hotel, it should be mentioned that the hotel is located away from any other establishments an it is very difficult to walk to anything out of the hotel, unless you clamber over rocks and up very dodgy steps or a risky walk up a lane. Lived up to expectations: George and staff could not do enough for their guests - it was like home from home, very relaxed atmosphere, rooms very clean and spacious, everything you could possibly want. Pool area beautifully kept, clean towels everyday, breakfast selection more than adequate, offered great food for lunch and dinner. It's the first time I been there - went on recommendation. Very enjoyable week and will definitely be going back! Excellent - full complements to George and team.

Amazing hotel and good food, good location and friendly staff.

We have just spent a week in late Oct / early Nov at the Ikaros resort, and had one of our best holidays ever. The resort was spotless, the staff welcoming and friendly, and the food and drink top class. The facilities cannot be faulted an we would not hesitate to recommend.

Stunning views from the penthouse suite. Property was immaculate and nick at reception was very helpful and kind. Hope to he back when im in crete again :)

Booked for 15 nights as we where on a late flight 11pm, didn't know we could have kept the room on until 6pm for 20e, Brilliant service from start to end, no problems at all , The room was basic but we are used to this in Greece after all you only shower and sleep there so no need for glam as long as it's clean and a comfy bed which it had and the price we paid was well worth it. Would definitely recommend and won't hesitate to rebook when we return one day.

Very nice place to stay, close to shops and only 2 minutes from the beach. Beautiful pool area & restaurant with excellent food.

Wonderful welcome from wonderful staff. Nothing feels like too much trouble. The standard room was basic but was perfectly sufficient for our needs and cleaned every day. The hotel has a boutique style with 2 nice outdoor pools and one indoor, next to the small but sufficiently equipped gym. Unfortunately we did not have time to try out the spa treatments but the staff were also very nice in there. Very clean and spacious room with kitchenette. Bring your own coffee, sugar, napkins, etc. none was included. No coffee maker just a kettle. Area was very quiet, parking on the street with lots of lights. Supermarket is 5 minute walk, coffee shop 2 minute walk. All in all I was very satisfied.
