Hersheypark Stadium is an impressive open-air venue that hosts a variety of musical concerts and sports events. Lying between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, it is a cultural cornerstone of the region and has hosted many big names. Admire the innovative synthetic grass system. The soccer qualifying rounds for the 2000 Sydney Olympics were held here. For sports, it has a capacity of 15,641, while concerts can fit 30,000 fans.

Construction first commenced on the arena in 1937, before it was completed in 1939 and then expanded the following year. Over the decades, the stadium hosted rodeos, athletics and musical performances and served as the summer home of the Philadelphia Eagles. Hear about the enormous birthday gala held for President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1953.
