"Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen. Wir waren für zwei Nächte dort. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, vermutlich weil außer dem Besitzer und einer Reinigungskraft keiner im Hotel beschäftigt ist. "Large hotel in the centre of Wernigerode about 10 mins walk from the railway station. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Room comfortable and clean. The hotel does seem to have a number of coach parties so can get busy at times."

"We had a lovely stay at Hotel Schlosspalais! The hotel was quaint, warm and welcoming, with a beautiful view of Wernigerode Castle right from our room. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the charming old town with plenty of shops and restaurants to explore. Breakfast was delicious and the service was wonderful throughout our stay. A lovely place to stay while visiting Wernigerode!"

"We stayed in one of their tiny houses. It was very clean and nicely decorated. There was a sturdy version of a double-bed bunkbed style, a nice bathroom, a kitchen with a tiny dishwasher, a dining room/sitting area. Plus there was a lovely furnished patio area with each tiny house. There was an air conditioner (did not get it to work), but there were also automated loft windows which were fantastic at cooling down the place. Along the beautifully landscaped path to the tiny houses there was a grass area to air-out the dog and a small playground for small children. The hotel breakfast was amazing with various pâtés, fish, bacon, eggs, yogurt and fresh fruit and fresh bread. It was staffed by an amazing group of ladies. The restaurant/bar was pretty and relaxing. Well done!"
