"We were looking for a place near Colmar for our family of 4 with 2BR, a living space and a kitchen and we got everything we were hoping for. The apartment was spotless, well equipped, it includes 2 parking spaces if you need it and although we had a few hiccups when we arrived late on check in day the owners were very kind and helped us sort everything we didn’t figure out ourselves the following day. "Parking at this hotel is a bit tricky. The back lot filled up very quickly and there was no in/out availability after they closed the gate at midnight. Hotel itself was good. Had a fridge with cold Alsace water (complimentary) waiting for us after we check in. Staff was friendly. Room was a good size. We booked a deluxe room with 1 double bed and 2 twin beds. One of the twin beds was a pull out bed from the couch. It was fine but if the person sleeping on it was taller it would have been a bit of an issue."

"Very convenient to the sights. Easy with a car to get to neighboring villages. Rooms great- sound proofed from street noise. Very comfortably furnished. Best so far with air conditioning in this heat wave in France. Parking on road bit difficult. Reception staff went out of their way to help yes-even help with bags up 2 flights of steps. Eventually had a room with a lift access. It was good that Chris and Tiffany were so helpful and a bit of history about the hotel was interesting. Great courtyard to drink n eat breakfast n to get away from the heat! Visually interesting with all the different buildings joined together with various design n colors. Had run in with bar staff who was not helpful n even got sworn at- they should get him re trained! Took away all the nice things the other staff had done. Don’t think he should b in the hospitality industry when one needs to deal with diff races n women!"

"Location it’s awesome , staff it’s friendly , you can keep luggage after check out , suite it has ample space for 2 adults and one kid . Near to restaurants and bar , walking distance to museum , cathedral , little venice . Hotel give you discount tickets for the boat tour , museum . Also i recommend you to do the tourist train tour , you take from infront of museum ."

"Checkin was a disaster compounded by unnecessary surliness and incompetence. They demand a 24 hour pre check in online and I did that noting that I would stop by at 1 pm to drop bags and avail myself of their luggage storage option. I received an email back thanking me for pre-check in. I showed up at 3 pm and there was a family from Montreal also looking to check in early. The phone didn’t pick up then a random guy came and accosted us for being early and I explained I spelled it out in the pre check in. He said to give him 5 minutes. That turned into fifteen minutes and then some other guy showed up and accosted us again and shut the door and left us out on the street in the hot weather. I found his language to be rude and abrasive as did the Montreal family. Finally some hotel guests took pity on us and let us in and showed us where the luggage storage was and we went to get some water nearby (why that was so difficult for the hotel staff Ill never know). I don’t know why they bother with the pre-registration kabuki. Then my room didn’t have a frying pan but there was a whisk and a spatula. After three days I gave up asking. It’s unfortunate because it’s a nicely renovated old building in a convenient spot though it was interesting that they have a placard at the front desk advising guests not to argue with staff so somehow the surliness is built into the hospitality illusion they offer. It was like a surly Fawlty Towers Totally uncalled for. C’est dommage."
