"The room was nice and cozy. The staff was accommodating. We really just spent the night and moved along early the next day so we didn't have their breakfast or use the pool. Maybe next time! The property was a bit older, but in good condition. Great central location. Recommend!"

"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated having coffee and a refrigerator in the room. My second floor room had windows that faced the front and rear of the property and the views were nice. I enjoyed seeing elk right outside the window. The breakfast was ok - quite a few choices; yogurt, juice, cereal, pastries, toast, biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs & apples. The biggest disappointment was the condition of the outside of the building. It gave me a little bit of a negative first impression. The paint was worn, as were the carpets on the walkways. The cement and asphalt were lumpy, making it somewhat difficult to walk safely. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would stay again."

"Property is in a great location! Absolutely beautiful view and very nice home and set up. We would most definitely consider this home again in the future. Only downside we had was the heat. Probably uncharacteristically warm and the house did not have AC. It would take till about 2:00 in the morning with fans in the window to cool things back downAlso, the first impressions as you drive in from the street may give you a knot in your gut (dumpsters, boards and junk a bit piled up) but don’t be alarmed, the house is amazing and easy to look past once your settled."
Private Luxury Rocky Mountain Estate “The Lodge” Phenomenal BIG Mountain Views

"Great layout with plenty of space for all of our families and grandkids. Lower level bunk room for all the cousins was a hit, and the lower level king bed suites for the parents was great. Upstairs was a great space for meals and hanging out. The outside deck was perfect for watching the wildlife and storms. Plenty of parking for all of our cars. Property is up higher on the hill above the street, so private and a bit quieter. Note: there is no A/C. Just "alpine air", which means opening the house in the morning and closing the windows so it stays cool until the evening. I would rent the house again, but it was a bit warm in the early evening until the temps drop (we rented in late July). The king suite bedrooms with onsite bathrooms were private and wonderful! No one had to share a bathroom. The property has a nice bbq grill out back. The carpet is a bit old and needs to be updated or stretched, and they had lots of rugs on the wood floors that we moved so it didn't trip the seniors or toddlers. All in all a great property and one I will consider again for next years family reunion. We had 5 families and 8 grandkids, including a baby in the house. Two kitchens meant plenty of space for all of our food. Thanks Jody for a nice week with the extended family."
