Set directly on the lagoon front in Fisherhaven near Hermanus, Mbizi  
 lagoon house is a tranquil retreat that speaks to the heart. Here,  
 nature and freedom blend beautifully and almost any time of day, you  
 might spot South Africas only wild horse herd wandering past the  
 terrace or crossing the shimmering lagoon waters. When the water level  
 rises, graceful flamingos often join the scene, turning the landscape  
 into a living painting. Just beyond the lagoon lies the vast Atlantic  
 Ocean, with endless stretches of white sand beach perfect for long  
 walks, quiet reflection, or simply soaking in the coastal calm.  
  
 The house offers space for up to eight guests, combining openness,  
 comfort, and panoramic views that celebrate the beauty of its  
 surroundings. A full glass facade opens the home to the lagoon, ocean,  
 and mountains beyond, creating a seamless connection between indoor and  
 outdoor living. Guests can enjoy free WiFi throughout the property, air  
 conditioning in all main living and sleeping areas, and secure access  
 within a private estate offering 247 security and an alarm system  
 connected to estate services.  
  
 Upstairs, guests are welcomed into a spacious lounge with plush sofas,  
 a gas fireplace, and a coffee kitchenette ideal for cosy evenings  
 overlooking the water. The master bedroom features a king size extra  
 length bed, two workspaces ideal for remote working, a private loggia,

 The property is equipped with smoke detectors with integrated carbon  
 monoxide sensors in all bedrooms, as well as standard smoke detectors  
 in both living rooms and the upper garage. It also offers a secure  
 garage with direct access to the house, additional driveway parking,  
 and essential amenities such as an iron, ironing board, and hairdryer.  
 Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to ensure a seamless  
 stay, whether you’re here for a family getaway, a retreat with friends,

 Located just 30 minutes from Hermanus and about 90 minutes from Cape  
 Town, Fisherhaven is one of the Overbergs best kept secrets. Guests can  
 enjoy whale watching in Hermanus, long beach walks, kayaking and  
 birdwatching on the lagoon, wine tasting in the Hemel en Aarde Valley,  
 and golf at nearby courses like Arabella and Hermanus. For the more  
 adventurous, horse riding, hiking, mountain biking, and even shark cage  
 diving in Gansbaai await.

For security and safety purposes, guests are required to provide full names, identification, details of any children travelling, vehicle registrations, and estimated arrival times prior to check-in. This information will be treated confidentially, and failure to submit it on time may result in delayed or denied check-in.  
All our properties are strictly non-smoking, and tenants accept full liability for all minors and visitors. Pets, parties, and events are not permitted.  
For stays of 8 nights or more, a complimentary mid-stay clean, including fresh linen, will be provided. Additional cleaning services can be arranged upon request with a minimum of 24 hours' notice and will incur an extra charge.  
A standard key and breakage deposit is payable before check-in. This amount depends on the standard of the establishment and may be changed at the owner’s/management’s discretion.  
Please be advised that, to promote a sustainable and comfortable experience for all our guests, electricity usage is governed by a fair use policy that permits a reasonable amount of daily consumption. In the rare event of unusually high usage, a reimbursement may be requested.  
A late check-in fee of R250 applies for arrivals between 21:00 and 00:00, payable in cash directly to the property host upon arrival. For arrivals after 00:00, a fee of R350 will apply.  
  
The Property Manager will arrange a check-in time with guests to meet at the property, which is situated at Sandown Bay 34, Hermanus, Fisherhaven, 7200.  
  
The Property Manager will hand the keys to the guest and share with them knowledge about the apartment and surroundings including the house rules.
