There are two bedrooms on the main floor and was perfect for the one in our group that can't do stairs. The upstairs was warm upon arrival but cooled down for comfortable sleeping. Sleeps even more than what is described. Downstairs was perfect sleeping conditions (even had to put on an extra blanket). Patio was lovely. There is a large hill that’s required to walk which was fine for us but likely not suited for some. The taxi at the Crown Suites is more than willing to take you but seemed difficult to do every time you make that trek. The house is large enough for many guests which is hard to find in Hermann. It is very dated. I understand that’s the point but small changes would elevate the comfort of the house without taking away from the history. Beds are not great, bedding is old and not comfortable. Upgrades on the beds and bedding would change the game in this house. The furniture in the living room is dated and not very comfortable. No TV in the bedrooms. The house smells old. Everything was perfect. House is in great shape. The AC kept us cool. Everything was in working order and clean. The location of the place is very convenient.
