    Located in the front row, right on the beach, the historic Hotel Ostende features a neoclassical architectural style dating from around 1900.
    Historic on the outside, thoroughly renovated on the inside: classically designed and furnished in a modern style, the comfortable rooms and suites are sure to become your favourite place… Many guests consider the view across the Baltic Sea to the horizon to be unparalleled. The sound of the sea is included.
    It’s not “just” your eyes and ears that are treated to a Nordic experience—your palate is, too. The day begins with a hearty breakfast, which in summer is often served on the sun terrace overlooking the promenade.
    Local sourcing and sustainability take centre stage in the culinary experience. The chef places great emphasis on the origin of the ingredients: from meat sourced from animals raised in Mecklenburg to freshly caught fish and regional cheeses—freshness is what’s served here. The vast majority of all ingredients used come from the region.
