Front desk staff were very helpful, excellent area to find restaurants, shopping and close to the cathedral. It was quite hot for my visit so the staff provided fans and ice buckets with bottles of water. If you need anything, just ask! Would stay here again if ever in the area.

The staff were brilliant, friendly, helpful and polite. The position of the hotel was excellent for exploring the area. The room size was fine and the amenities good. What the room needed was air conditioning, I realise it is extreme heat and a fan was provided but I believe it was way too hot and oppressive. The water system was ropey and waiting for the water to arrive and the bathroom in general needed updating. However the room was clean.

The car park was very good value for money. The hotel is perfectly located with friendly and helpful staff. The only comment necessary is the low level lighting in the room, slightly higher wattage LED bulbs were needed.

The hotel is a gem, full of character, great location and offers parking. We were unable to extend our king room prior to arrival so booked a classic for the additional night. At check-in they managed to upgrade the classic at no extra charge so we wouldn't have to change room mid-stay. Would definitely stay again.

Room and furnishings all looking pretty tired and like they could do with an update, and what looked like mould on the bathroom ceiling presumably due to the lack of ventilation there. Super friendly staff and great public spaces, great location. What little food I tried at the bar was excellent. The only thing that inconvenienced me a little was the lack of a mini fridge in the room. Mind you, it's an old building. Would come back.

The receptionists were both very nice and helpful. The hotel has character and was comfortable. However, I stayed during a hot period and the room I was in was extremely hot, despite the two fans. Otherwise no complaints.
