The kitchen is well appointed, and we used it to cook several meals. The host was very helpful and we appreciated his recommendation for a local olive oil farm tour. The location is close to the shopping District, small grocery stores, transportation, restaurants, and the Venetian Fort and Breakwater. Less than a block away there is an affordable underground parking garage, 12 euros for 24 hours for our rental and the location couldn’t be better, a few steps from the harbour and then main tourist attractions, the center of Heraklion is deceptively small, so everything is reachable from the apartment. The host Kostas was very friendly, helpful and always available. Just after our arrival from the airport, our rental car had a flat tire. He found a very affordable place that fixed our tire puncture in minutes. ##### Alex P.
