Welcome to the Buttercup Cottage! Located in Western North Carolina. A very well-appointed studio cottage. Easy one mile walk to downtown Hendersonville, sidewalks the entire way. Convenient drive to Pisgah National Forest access and many hiking trails and waterfalls within a 30 minute drive. The Buttercup Cottage offers a king size bed, 6 pillows, luxury linens, full size 6' couch, 5' desk, WiFi, charging cords, smart TV, full size kitchen with all cooking accessories, coffee bar, spacious walk-in shower, all towels provided. Shark HEPA air purifier. Fully fenced yard with secure access. Patio furniture and umbrella. Pet canopies for both large and small pets, pet bowls, leashes, paw booties, paw wash canister, pet towels and portable dog water bowls all provided. Hiking sticks and umbrellas, bug repellent and first aid kits, sewing kits, washer/dryer access if needed with iron and ironing board. Tile floors throughout, area rug in living area. All Pets welcome! Off street parking both open and covered. Contactless entry key pad. Come stay among the locals. Very quiet and peaceful spot. Mature landscaping. We look forward to your stay!

This house was perfect for us and our two dogs. We had everything we needed, and a little fenced yard for the dogs to do their thing. Centrally located in Hendersonville. Thanks so much for a great stay!

The property was exactly as advertised. It’s only a 15 minute(0.8 miles) walk to downtown Hendersonville. There lots of great food and drink options in town and the surrounding area. We had a wonderful stay!

Good Spot for Local Needs

This location worked well for us. It’s very small, but offers some extras that helped with tight space. The towel bar needs repair and a box of tissues would be a good idea, especially in spring.

Cute tiny home. Its in a good location to downtown. It only has 1 small parking spot so we were glad we took our smaller suv. There is a lot of good things about this property but we were disappointed by how overgrown and buggy the grounds were for our dog. The bathroom while very nice doesnt allow space for your own items. It worked for our short trip but would have been difficult for a long one.

Perfect cottage

The cottage was a perfect homebase for our quick trip to the mountains. There was plenty of room for us and our two 80lb dogs. The house was clean and found it to be exactly as described. The fenced in yard was great to let our pups out without leashes for quick potty breaks. A wonderful little house and we will absolutely stay again when in Hendersonville.

Positive Vibes

Great location as just a short drive off the highway! Cute neighborhood and great place to take our pup! Hard to find such a nice place for our stop over to Folly Beach! The yard was great for our dog to stretch her legs and everything we needed was there! We cooked dinner and just enjoyed the yard! Thanks for such an easy stay and loved the Buttercup Cottage!

Very Dog Friendly

My wife, our 3 dogs and I all stayed at Buttercup cottage. Having 3 dogs all over 60 pounds makes it hard to find a place to stay. We where able to stay here with more than enough room PLUS a fenced in yard for the dogs to play. Large king size bed plus a very spacious couch, a small kitchen with plenty of coffee and tea stocked up. We loved everything about this house. We loved the close proximity to downtown Hendersonville and it was easy to get to Asheville and local hiking trails. We will definitely be staying here again in the near future!

Big time in a small package

I spent a delightful week in this well appointed tiny cottage. It was perfect for me and my beloved 15 year old pup. Great fenced in yard. House has everything needed. Quaint place

We enjoyed our stay. The house is conveniently located to everything in downtown Hendersonville. We walked to town where we shopped in some great local businesses and ate fabulous food! The house was clean and thoughtfully stocked. We brought our two fur babies and the enjoyed the yard. The decor is bright and fun throughout the house and the bed is very comfortable!

Hendersonville cottage

We had a nice stay. The temps were crazy hot outside and when we first arrived at the cottage the AC unit in the bedroom was not cooling. I contacted Lucinda and she sent someone to replace it within 1 1/2 hrs. We were thankful to have a fully functioning AC unit. The cottage is equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay.

A weekend get away. Very convenient to Asheville without all the hustle and bustle. Neighborhood is nice to walk your dog! The fenced in yard is perfect for your dog. Inside the cottage is adorable. Very clean. Classy. Lucinda has a talent for decorating. Peaceful and calm. Studio but just enough room for a place to hang out short term. Lucinda was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with for this stay. Very nice cottage!

Good for our dog; not for us

We are old(79+)and disabled. We chose Buttercup because of availability, handicapped shower, and fenced yard for dog. It had all those things and friendly management. But it didn't work for us because of 3 concrete steps to enter and exit. We both are short in stature, use rolling walkers for ambulatory assistance, and are old. The steps were difficult and scary. And the bed was so high we had difficulty getting in to it And the cottage was so small we couldn't use both our walkers in it. I think it would be good for a younger couple with normal mobility and a dog or 2. But for us not so much. The owner was very cordial when we cut short our stay.
