Staff was excellent and helpful with all our questions, easy access to the ski center, excellent restaurants with in 5 minutes walking distance, breakfast was wonderful. Only downside is when pub is open it is noisy until 3 am and elevator was not working at 5 am so we had to get the luggage downstairs. Even with those item the cost was so low it was well worth the stay.

Very close to the skisenter with easy, free transportation. Good place to stay for ski trip to Hemsedal.

It was a nice stay. We enjoyed the free Sauna offered by the hotel. Staff was very friendly too.

Great lodging for our family of 4 with loft area for the kids to sleep. Nice breakfast with a mix of traditional American and European options. Nice common area with selection of board games. Highly recommend.

Nice, pet-friendly hotel
Pretty standard hotell, good breakfast buffet, and we booked the sauna for an hour and had the entire spa all to ourselves.

It was nice atmosphere in overall
The room was renovated, clean with comfortable bed. Breakfast was good enough. I wish they had some kettle that we could have coffee/tea, but they had complimentary coffee in lobby. Receptionist gave us some boiled water that we can make our own coffee. I preferred non-smoking room, but the room given to us smells a little

Excellent location for randonne skiing in Hemsedal mountain area. Very good breakfast every day, including option to prepare your lunch to bring.

Helt ok hotell for én natt. Dyrt sammenliknet med hva du får. Rommene er litt slitte. Møblene på rommet så gamle ut. Det hadde lekket såpe fra dispenseren ut på halve badet. Som sagt helt ok. Hadde forventet litt bedre i henhold til prisen. Veldig hyggelig personale! Og frokosten var god!

Great old Hotel!
This old Hotel is a maze, but great fun! Furnished with antiques, it has a great history. The staff was very nice.

Basic and pricey, but good location and fair facil
Good bits: location is centre of town, close to bus stops and near restaurants and other eateries; they try hard with free facilities like tea and coffee and two saunas; breakfast was fine. Bad bits: Very pricey, these are more than London prices for a basic, rural hotel; it's showing it age in many ways but it just about copes to provide modern basic facilities. For the ski-er, there is now a ski-run ending 200 meters on the other side of the main road and the ski-bus stops nearby to take you back to the ski-centre and the lifts two miles up the road.

Cozy Ski Hotel
The hotel was in a great location with regards to the ski area. The lobby was cozy and comfortable but that was the only place to access the wifi. The tapas restaurant at the hotel was amazing and the overall staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was your average hotel room, nothing special good or bad. The drain in the shower was clogged, which caused the entire bathroom to flood after only a few seconds. The front desk gave extra towels for me to soak up the water. They offered to put some kind of chemical like drain-o but said it would cause a bad smell and the shower couldn't be used for at least four hours. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I would recommend this hotel.

Väldigt fint uppehåll! Gammalt, slitet hotell som skulle behöva uppgraderas. Dålig luft/ventilation på rummen. Toppen bra frukost & god service! Saknar spaet, bassäng eller lekrum.

Veldig middels
Ekstremt kaldt på rommet. Adventerte med spa inkludert i oppholdet, men hadde ikke fasiliteter. Rommene fremstår som en tidskapsel fra 1980. Nyoppussede bad som var i veldig god stand. Svært dårlig isolering førte også til at bråkete festgjester hold oss oppe om natten. Frokosten var ok+ og betjeningen var hyggelig. Alt i alt en middels opplevelse. Drar et annet sted neste gang.
