Short walk to beach, pub & cafe in unspoilt cornish fishing cove. Perfect for couples. Tastefully decorated for Christmas (unless requested otherwise) Cadgwith is perfect for a winter escape, fantastic walks and beaches on your doorstep, and a traditional pub in the cove with roaring fires and delicious food 😋 Join in the Christmas day swim, or watch from the pub, and welcome the Mummers play to the cove on boxing day!! Sea shanty singing on Fridays and Folk music on Tuesdays keep the village busy through the winter months. Dogs and travel cots welcome 😊 The carriage was brought to Cadgwith in the 1920s by an employee of Great Western to provide holiday accommodation for their family, and is believed to have been built in 1874. Henrietta comprises of 1 double bedroom, kitchen, living room and bathroom with a bath. She sits beside a small stream, with a beautiful quiet streamside private garden. Guests are also welcome to make use of the 2 acres of garden, with free range ducks, chickens and and 3 mad pygmy goats! Check in instructions and directions to the location were clear and Paul and Paula were the perfect hosts. Friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The accommodation was quirky, clean and beautifully presented and had everything we needed. The private outside area was very quiet and peaceful with lots of walks nearby. Cadgwith is a stunning village and we enjoyed several nights at the Cadgwith Cove Inn listening to sea shanties and folk songs. Overall a very enjoyable 7 day's holiday. The property suited our needs.
