Footsteps From The Beach - Hot Tub - Wi-Fi

  • A stunning contemporary beach house with a hot tub, offering a unique position overlooking the beautiful sandy Hendra Beach. This listing includes the addition of The Love Shack which is a renovated self-contained room with king size bed, a shower room, a small kitchenette, and fabulous sea views.

    Little Cottage was originally a fifteenth century Fisherman’s cottage overlooking Praa Sands beach, designed by award winning architect Alex Michaelis, and was designed to maximise the incredible sea views from all the living spaces, bedrooms, and bathrooms.

    Little Cottage accepts a maximum of 10 adults and 2 children under the age of 16 years old

    Up to 2 pets accepted, £30 charge per pet per week

    £500 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no claim. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.

Beautiful property but poorly maintained

We stayed here July 5-12 during a heatwave. Unfortunately, and aside from the bedrooms, the property has no form of shading to the huge windows in the open plan living area, or up the stairs and along the bedroom corridor. The temperature inside, day and night, was very very uncomfortable. We didn’t expect air con but fans would have been nice. In addition no comfortable shaded seating area to relax and eat is provided outside. Not even a parasol. It isn’t enough to charge huge sums of money to rent this property based on position and views, which were beautiful. In our opinion the property has been lacking on going maintenance inside and out for some time. We used the Love Shack as well. This also poorly maintained and not very clean. Items in bathroom rusted. Window and patio doors couldn’t be opened. Window rusted up and doors opened onto a drop and we had a dog. We were a family party of 9 and we did have a wonderful time but that in main was due to the beach and hot tub.
