Location of the property was good. But inside hotel it was like a college dorm or prison cell cleaned. No proper windows. The bath rooms were too congested. It was clean room, but old corridors , elevators and those back side area rooms were having a US basement kind of windows
This hotel gets 2 stars for aesthetics, but it's very functional, in a good central location, and a good deal for the price. The bed was comfortable, the water was hot, it was very quiet at night, and the small fridge, microwave and electric kettle worked fine. The bathroom was small, lacked soundproofing, but it made it possible to get the job done. A big plus was that the small table and seating area were visually separated from the head of the bed by the bathroom. The check in was easy. A great place for folks on a budget, or needing a pre-flight resting spot.
Clean room within walking distance from the Helsinki main train station. You can walk everywhere or take a tram . I chose to walk. Easy to get around. There is a K grocery across the street or a Lidl within 5 min walk, restaurants around area. The room has sitting area to eat, microwave, kettle and small refrigerator. Bed was ok . Code to get in the building and room , we did not see a reception but the worker cleaning outside was helpful. My hubby uses a wheelchair for mobility. There was a big step to the bathroom so you must be able to walk up and stand to shower. We enjoyed our stay.
Location was fantastic and check in was easy for me, although each time I went past the front door it seemed like someone was struggling to check in. Cleanliness was mid.
Great location. Near everything. Supermarket right across the street. Restaurants, bars, bakeries all within walking distance. Check-in and Check-out process very easy.
I used a single room for the night and it was more than sufficient! Clean, tidy and a good size! The reception area, lift/stairs and corridors aren’t the prettiest, and we encountered a suspicious person trying to enter the building with us (this was late on a Saturday night), we managed to get in the lift and they were left in reception with no access to rooms etc.
Overall a very decent hotel for the price and location. Not the best, not the worst.
I strongly recommend following the check in instructions to ensure that you get your room number and access code before arriving, as we did not see any staff to help at the hotel!
A very clean, cheap and super well located hotel. No reception, I received a code that I could use to open all doors. Everything was easy and effortless. Seeing how this is obviously a budget hitel, it was such a lovely surprise that the room still had kettle, tea, coffee, sugar etc there. Also a fridge 👍
A bit of a walk from the main train station so we took a uber to/fro. Check-in was super easy and we liked that we did not have to worry about losing the room's card key :)
