Helen Tubing & Helen Water Park

We went to check in on 9/25/26 and while the lobby was decent, the entire rest of the property was super sketchy. People staring as you go to your room. Felt completely unsafe the entire 20 minutes we were on the property. We went to our room to find someone was still checked in! He showed me in the book where they were supposed to have been checked out like that mattered. As someone who's been in hospitality, there is supposed to be someone who checks the rooms. He talked over me when I was trying to explain what happened, then tried to just switch my room. I asked for a refund and it was like he was trying to hurry me out the door. I stayed for a receipt. I guess it wasn't his fault, but if he gave me a key to someone else's room, who's to say a key to mine wouldn't be given out? I think the staff needs to communicate with each other more and take their job more seriously.

For the price of this hotel to be so cheap, it's a steal and bargain to book it. I was surprised how clean it was, how nice the staff was, the room was great and had an outside area and pool. If your an out person you'd love the location, plenty eateries around walking distance.
