However we chose this home to rent due to the fireplace and the hot tub. Thankfully the fireplace worked great but the hot tub was not warm enough. Quite disappointing. There was a fire pit and charcoal grill outside that we used - if it had been warmer we would have spent way more time at the lovely creek area! So nice back there. I drive an ev and didn't have a tesla adapter so I just lvl 1 charged at the house plenty enough room for a short cord. Furthermore the location was perfect, everything we wanted to do was within a 5 mile drive. The creek in the back was a really nice touch to the stay. All in all I hope it has availability the next time I stay it was perfect. I will say the road to get to the house is 1 lane and any vehicle will do just fine. Just the occasional car on the road above the house. I do suggest using Google Maps, Apple Maps brought us to the next road and said that we had arrived. You are 7 minutes from Unicoi State park and downtown Helen. Both places I highly recommend going to visit! The creek was a wonderful sound and view. There is a picnic table with a small grill and fire pit beside the creek. We did not use either, but both areas are well loved from previous guests. There are stairs leading to the back property from the back porch. The back porch is screened in and holds the hot tub. My group did not use the jacuzzi, so I can’t properly review that amenity. The property does not have a washer or dryer, but I think they might have plans to add them at a later date. The area in front of the house and around the cabin is very well lit! They do have cameras on the outside property, but we never felt our privacy was invaded. The upstairs loft is not private, it’s open to the living area. I suggest traveling with company that you enjoy. I can go on forever about how cute and clean this little cabin is, but I’ll stop! We will definitely stay here again! ##### Morgan C. The sounds of the creek were so relaxing. The hot tub was the perfect touch to enjoy the cold nights. You get the best of both worlds - secluded enough that you don’t have to worry about disturbing the neighbors (or being disturbed) but also close enough to Helen to enjoy the town and get back to the house without a long drive. There's a sign on a tree that you wouldn't see at night. It has a perfect little creek behind it and a fire pit where it gives off the impression that you are 100% in a different world especially if you have to deal with the daily grind. My favorite part about this day was the sunset on the creek behind the place. It was absolutely wonderful, beautiful and very snug.
