Alpine Helen is the tourist hot spot here in the Mountains of North GA. Visit us in the fall for the world’s longest running Oktoberfest. Helen, GA is centrally located to Hiawasee, Blairsville, Dahlonega, Ellijay, Sautee Nacoochee, Lake Burton, Lake Vogel and Brasstown Bald, the highest natural point in the state of Georgia. North GA is also known for its Great trout fishing, zip lining, tubing and wines tasting. Visit Three Sisters, Frog Town, Wolf Mountain and Habersham Wineries just to mention a few.
Our cabin has easy access to all Helen has to offer and is a short walk (1/4 - 1/2 mile) for shopping, dining, bars, tubing and water Park. They also offer go-carts, horse rides, hiking, biking, kayaking, mountain roads, views etc within a short drive. The cabin is private and semi-secluded with plenty of parking space.
North Georgia also has abundant wildlife, many hiking trails, lakes, rivers, and waterfalls. Enjoy the mountain Laurel in the Spring, the colorful foliage in the fall, warm mountain air in the summer and maybe even a touch of snow in the winter months.
Experience the best of the North Georgia Mountains by staying in this cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin. Room to comfortably sleep up to 4 guests, this home is the perfect size for a family mountain getaway.
The cabin comes with a fully furnished kitchen and bedding. All you need to bring is your personal items and food. We have Roku tv and WiFi.
After a fun day of taking in all Helen and North Georgia has to offer come home to relax around a campfire and gaze at the stars while enjoying your favorite beverage.

Great little cabin
Great place to stay if you want piece of mind and relaxation. Close to town but far enough not to hear the main road. Place was clean and well stocked with everything you would need. This was our first VRBO rental. If we head up there again we hope this cabin will be available.

Nice weekend getaway

The cabin was just perfect for us and our dog. It was very cozy and clean. We enjoyed the private deck and hot tub. We also enjoyed sitting on the front porch. Downtown Helen was just a short walk. We would definitely return!

Quiet and Close
Due to being there when we were it was quiet and an easy walk into town. Convenient to most everything you might want to do. Cabin was comfortable and had plenty of room for us. Nice decks to relax on - we would have but the weather was a bit cool... Only drawback is not much area to walk our dog to do her business except on the road. Thankfully the cabins near us were vacant so we could walk her in those yards. Had a great walk in town and there are parks there for our dog to do lots of smelling. It's a dog friendly area but be sure to bring your bags for them as they don't have them available anywhere on the streets/parks that we saw. Overall a nice visit!!!

Nice little cabin
All was very nice there was problems with the gas fireplace where the pilot light knots blowing out! They lit it one time and it only lasted an hour and went out again! I gave up! They don’t tell you the main heat controls are located behind the TV so the first night the temp dropped to 66 degrees and wouldn’t get any warmer. The only heat control is located on the other wall the one you can see and that’s for the gas heater that won’t work! He can control the heater temperature from his phone and I had to call him to turn it higher! I’m from Florida and not used to 32 degree weather! It was too cold and had to sleep with a coat to stay warm! Would I return to this cabin NO! Besides the floors and dust were terrible! I should not have to clean to stay there it should be clean before you get there!
