This was a nice, very clean room right on the edge of town. It was quiet and right by a grocery store. Walkable distance to all of Main Street Helen. Adults only would be best for this location. The walls are thin and the bed sounded like it was going to break in half every time we sat down. I do wish the doors had an automatic lock as you have to rely on others to lock the main front door behind them. Other than that it was a perfect little getaway! Would stay again.

We love this room, it is super cute! We have stayed here before and love the location, right next to Betty's Grocery Store and within walking distance to everything in town. We will be staying again for sure! Love that you can rent the whole house if we decide to do a family trip!

One night stay

Great place to stay and lay your head to rest after exploring the adorable town of Helen. As the listing notes, this is a bedroom with a private bath, which is all we needed. Great location to walk around the downtown area. The only reason I didn’t give it an excellent rating was because a few minor details were overlooked by housekeeping. Nothing major and we would definitely stay here again.

Overall our trip was fantastic! The property was clean and convenient to everything. We were able to walk everywhere. Our only complaint was the mattress in the room. It maybe time to replace it. Overall we would stay her again. Great for a couple with no kids!

Very convenient, cute and clean

This place was super cute, very clean and updated with nice bathroom/shower. We loved that was on Main Street and could walk to shops and restaurants easily. We did not consider the road noise, which was loud. However, it quieted down after dark and did not disturb our sleep. We would stay there again and recommend to friends.

Room was fine, customer service far under expectations

Plenty of communication by email and text leading up to check in, but all one way. No responses to text even though we were responding to text from the rental company. Room was supposed to be ready at 4 and was not. Called to ask about it and was just told they had been busy and would have the room cleaned within an hour. They would stay in touch with local property manager and would call us back. That was Sunday and we have never received a call.

This property is located at north end of town by the grocery store EVERYTHING is within walking distance and the room was spotless. It was the best value in town! We will absolutely return there soon thanks for a great experience

TERRIBLE BED, no help

Convenient. Clean. Complained about the bed and pillows after 1st nite. Told that the local manager would DEFINITELY call - NO CALL. Cleaning lady came, said she couldn't help but would create a ticket for at least a call - NO CALL. We knew the bed couldn't be changed, but maybe some additional pillows??? Tried to lock the door on Sunday morning at nine to go to the nearby grocery for breakfast. Would NOT LOCK at 9 AM for 10 AM checkout so we had to pack everything up and leave FIRST. Room is a studio - very small. Would have been much happier to have stayed at the nearby hotels. NOT WORTH IT!

Great Location

This place was perfect to experience Helen’s Octoberfest. Very clean and comfortable. There is no coffee pot in the room (which I knew beforehand by asking the management group that was great at communication). We brought our own. There is a microwave and fridge which was great for leftovers. Highly recommend for anyone.

The only negative I can say is they need to get a better mattress, it’s a memory foam. When one person is laying down but when two people are on the bed you roll toward the center. I would definitely stay at this property again but would advise they correct this problem

Cute and quiet

Really loved the location and the ease of checking in. It was very quiet and walking distance from everything. I love that each suite had its own thermostat. It was very clean. Plenty of towels and when we had an issue customer service was on top of it. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would use the location and Vacasa again. Some critiques that might be helpful for future visitors: When we arrived the door code that was given to us did not work for the suite room and we had to call and wait on hold while the property manager was contacted. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and we both left with back pain. When one person laid on it, it was hard as a rock. When two people tried to lay on it, the heaviest person created a deep pocket and the lighter person had no choice but to basically roll into the pocket and ended up squished together. We both struggled to get much sleep because of the bed. On the day of checkout (10:00AM checkout time), someone barged into our room at 8:06 in the morning. We’re assuming it was either the property manager or a cleaning person. This is an easy and understandable mistake, but regardless of that, the person should have at the very least knocked before walking in just to be sure. We were still sleeping at that time and it scared us both half to death. It wasn’t a huge issue since we had to wake up within a few minutes anyway and we were in the bed so no one was changing clothes or anything like that, but had it been 15-30 minutes later the situation could have been much more awkward.
