You are welcomed to 20 ft ceilings and beautiful mountain laurel railings in the spacious open floor plan living space! New couches and dining furniture greet you with comfort and relaxation while watching the smart TV in the living room or playing board games. This opens right up to the open kitchen where you have all the items you need to cook up a gourmet meal for your family. Step out the back door to the gas grill where you just need to bring your food to enjoy! On the upper floor, you have access to the Pool Table room where you have an 8 ft slate newly refelted pool table and another TV for watching your favorite shows. We also have a comfortable work desk space overlooking the seasonal Mountain View! A stocked library reading nook enables you to curl up with a good book and melt away your worries. Downstairs from the main floor, you have additional guest rooms; each bedroom with a NEW large king hickory bed. These comfortable rooms share a large bathroom with a walk-in shower for two. The piece-de-resistance is your 5-person built-in Cedar-sided SAUNA! For additional relaxation and stretching, check out our quiet yoga corner at the end of the hall. Laundry facilities are also on this floor just in case you play too hard and need to work some while you’re there!
Outdoors you will find a FULL wrap deck with log rocking chairs, cozy seating areas, and your hot tub that has been set up and waiting on your arrival! You also have a stone path that is lit at night by enchanting strand lights that bring you to your beautiful fire pit with 6 brand new Adirondack chairs and a refreshed stone firepit for enjoying evening camp fires with smores or just enjoying company and stories. Be sure to grab the hiking and nature bag or the wine picnic bag if you plan to explore beyond the porch and firepit.
A seasonal Mountain view can be seen from the kitchen side of the cabin off the decks or through the wall of windows that draw you to the beautiful nature around you. Group of military friends/family getting together to celebrate my 30th birthday. The cabin was perfect and offered great amenities (hot tub and sauna were a hit adter hikes during the day). All the rooms were comfortable and clean. We had a great stay.
Great place to stay. House was beautiful and very clean. It accommodated our family well and we will definitely be considering Cross Creek Hideaway again if we stay in the Helen area and it's available.
This is an amazing getaway for family of all ages. The kids had the best time. We will definitely be booking again in the near future

Best Family Vacation
Cross Creek was so beautiful! The cabin had everything we could need. The master bed was so comfortable, however the two beds downstairs were a little too soft. The hot tub and sauna were wonderful! We will definitely stay here again!
The cabin was very clean and secluded. Easy for all 3, 2 wheel drive SUV's to get to. Easy and simple check in/ out process. It was perfect for our hiking trip weekend!

Nice place
The house is nice and stocked with most everything you need. It lacks a true Mountain View but is very secluded. We would return but skip the fishing.
We had a great time, the place was clean and quiet. You could hear the leaves fall. Even though there were other properties close by, you could still had the feeling of being in the secluded on the side of the mountain. We enjoyed our time and hope to come back soon.
we have a very large family and cannot all fit in my brothers beautiful home in SkyLake so we rented this for our crew to sleep, and hangout when not at his house. It was so perfect! We loved everything about it! And they even had a beautiful full size Christmas tree set up! We will definitely stay here again!

Great R&R Girls Trip!
The cabin was perfect for our girls getaway weekend! Super close to hikes, waterfalls, breweries, and wineries. The creek at the front of the property is gorgeous and even just walking to that is some good exercise (seriously contemplating booking again in the summer so I can sit in that thing). The hot tub and sauna were amazing to say the least! Cabin had everything we needed to cook with, as well as ample glasses and dishes for our group of 6. 10/10 would recommend!
Clean, private, close to Helen and fishing and dog friendly.Very relaxing cabin whether you want to sip some local wine in a rocking chair on the wrap around porch, rejuvinate your muscles in the hot tub or sauna, or just relax by the fire pit in the evening.Bear sightings possible so be aware and prepared.Kitchen is smaller than it appears, but is well equiped for cooking.Check in and out was super easy. Very responsive host. Little extras to welcome you, like microwave popcorn and treats for your fur baby. There is a shallow, narrow creek you have to drive through to access the cabin. SUV or pick up only for this property.

Beautiful cabin, great time .
We had a wonderful time. The cabin was beautiful and was equipped with everything. It was very clean. All the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were great. We went to celebrate my 65th birthday and we enjoyed it to the max. The jacuzzi was so relaxing. We used the fire pit to make smores and sit around listening to music. We turned on the fireplace and watched movies. We made BBQ, played dominoes, pool and darts. We also went to Helen and had a great time. I will never forget the amazing time we had. We will definitely be back.

Cozy Cabin Retreat
My family and I went to Blue Creek cabins to celebrate Christmas. We were very pleased to see when we opened the front door, there was a tastefully decorated and lit Christmas tree! The cabin was very clean, organized, and well stocked. It was very nice to have the upper loft area where the children would play pool and could still talk to us as we sat around the fire in the main living area. Showers worked well. All appliances worked well. We also enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the outside fire pit. It was great to have the washer and dryer available as well. We would highly recommend this cabin.
Property manager and check in was great! The property itself was a great private location and beautiful. I would imagine some difficulty to reach if you have a low riding vehicle to get through the stream at the front, but most vehicles are not a problem......actually kind of fun!
It has a well stocked kitchen and for the most part was very clean. This is not a good location if you have little ones who are just walking or older folks as the stairs are a little scary and the outdoor stairs can be dangerous when raining. The inside has balusters which were built too far apart so they filled them in with tree branches. This can be VERY dangerous if you have a little one running around the main floor and we had to move furniture to block my granddaughter's access to the stair cases.
If your party is all adults or older children, this is a great location, however, something should really be done about the stairs both inside and out.

Nice cabin, good stay
Cabin is nice, plenty of room with two bedrooms on the ground floor, one on the main floor and one on the top floor. Backs up to the woods, the cabin is very quiet and secluded. Good kitchen area. Drive to the cabin does require one stream crossing, as the listing says, no low ground clearance vehicles are allowed. We drove three different 'crossover' style vehicles and had no problems. This was during a week with no rainfall.
All of the TVs are Roku TVs with Roku service. This has limitations, no internet browsing or connection to Youtube.
It does allow you to log into entertainment Apps that you might have at home.
Cabin was clean when we arrived. Did not get to use the outdoor firepit area. Did use the spa and sauna, note the spa is essentially a two person model.

Perfect Get Away.
This was the perfect cabin for our family.
We enjoyed the quiet surroundings.
The cabin has a nice lived in feel. The hot tub and sauna were great. We caught lots of fish and got to see wildlife just outside our door.
I would highly recommend this cabin if peace and quiet is your goal.
Cross Creek was a lovely property -exactly as represented online- and we would certainly return another time.
