Country Charm A – Free Spring Night

Close to town, but away from the noise sits Country Charm A, one of the four Country Charm cabins.

This cozy wood cabin has a king bed in the downstairs bedroom and a king bed in the open loft. The downstairs bathroom features a double sink vanity and a walk-in shower. On those chilly nights, or long days spend your time soaking in the cabin's indoor jetted garden tub.

The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, flat screen TVs and WiFi. The road from the cabin leads right into town to all the shops and restaurants. After a fun filled day of activities in and around town, you can sit and relax on the large front porch while watching the sun go down. Come experience Helen while staying in this cozy, country cabin.

This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $75 + tax for the first and $25 + tax for each additional.

• Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.
• Access: The road is paved for 1/4 of a mile from Main Street and then turns to dirt and gravel.

Octoberfest visit

The cabin was comfortable and very clean. You could not tell that it is a dog friendly cabin. Did not smell of dog or anything (like some hotel rooms). Nice location, just couple minute drive to downtown. The rental company ladies were awesome to work with. I would definitely recommend this cabin and Georgia Mountain Rentals to anyone wanting to visit Helen.

Convenient cabin

Cabin was clean and as advertised. It was a little too humid to use the porch, but the area is very quiet and peaceful. Easy access to town. Watch out for the Helen Police trying to meet quotas and hidden no left turn signs.

Close to Unicoi State park and Ruby Falls. Lots of family and kid activities close by in Helen. Lots of close restaurants close by in Helen. Betty's General Store in Helen has a very wide range of food products and a very good Deli. Grocery shopping 9 miles away in Cleveland GA has Ingles, Berry Foods ( IGA )and a Walmart. I would recommend this cabin.

It's like your own personal mountain retreat away from the hustle and bustle of town. It is located just up the mountain from town, (like a 2 minute drive) but it is not really within walking distance to the main downtown area. That was not a problem for us at all but some people wanted to avoid the traffic and just walk everywhere. The rental company folks are super sweet and easy to deal with. Check in and out was amazingly easy as well. If we return in the future, we will stay here again!

Reviewer Comments: This was a great location, especially as it was the first weekend of the Christmas Market in Helen and traffic was horrible, so being so close was an excellent choice! The cabin was clean and more than enough towels/cloths! Overall would definitely recommen!! The only “complaint” I would have is the mattress... very firm/hard and wasn’t very comfortable but I know this can be a controversial amenity as so many prefer something different. For me, it was way to firm but some may prefer that! Would definitely stay again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Open loft bedroom, 1 full bedroom cabin in a little cluster of 4 cabins with shared space. We rented late and had 2 dogs with us so choices were limited. GREAT access to the cute main strip in Helen which was why we went with this cabin! It met all of the basic necessities, no issues, easy and courteous check-in. Things inside the cabin are just a bit beat up and half-kept, and there are no thoughtful extras here. Our one odd issue was that when we turned the heat on because mornings were cold, there was a distinct 'dead animal' smell which clearly wasn't a perk.

Enjoyed the stay very much. This is a cabin type property, that is, not fancy, but very clean and well appointed- with lots of privacy and a quiet location, so - since this was exactly what we were looking for, it was perfect! Roughly a one minute drive to town, but out in the country…nice!

It was great. My partner and I stayed in the bedroom downstairs and our six year old son stayed in the loft upstairs — totally safe and clean. Easy drive into downtown Helen (like literally 2 minutes), easy drive to Anna ruby falls (15 mins), and then we went up to this hogpen gap area about 25-30 mins out to watch the sunset from 3500ft elevation. Incredible. Anyway the property was perfect with a fully equipped kitchen, lovely front porch, perfect living area. Would def stay again.

The cabin itself was clean and everything was in working order. I will say, you hear everything your fellow occupants are doing, every step, every move. The are the cabin is in is quiet, however, and we did not hear our neighbors.
