The highlights: \- Relax in the hot tub \- Grill and relax on the huge deck \- Hang out and roast s’mores around our fire pit \- Stream movies or take video calls on the fastest WiFi you can get in the mountains \- Drive 10 mins for golfing at The Woods, or 25 mins to Berkeley Springs for amazing restaurants & shopping The Space: Our loft-style, newly-renovated cabin has all the comforts of home, just nestled away in the WV mountains. Cedar Ridge is fun for couples, families, or groups of friends -- and is the perfect home base for your getaway! The cabin includes: \- Two bedrooms (each w/Queen Bed) , plus a large loft sleeping area \- A spacious deck for relaxing and grilling \- A modern kitchen with new appliances (including dishwasher), granite countertops, and an island perfect for hanging out while prepping meals \- Fast, reliable WiFi that’s more than enough to stream movies and hold video calls \- Open main room with plenty of natural light \- Hot tub for relaxing after a long day exploring \- Outdoor fire pit to wind down the evening with s’mores! Please note: The driveway up to the cabin is steep and has loose gravel. A very large vehicle (like an RV or truck towing something) will likely not be able to get up the driveway. If you're visiting with an extra-large vehicle, I recommend looking at other properties instead. Cars, SUVs, pickup trucks, and minivans should all be fine. Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similar—especially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up! We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family- and dog-friendly. Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic). Beyond the cabin itself, the Hedgesville / Berkeley Springs area is great for so many reasons -- and Cedar Ridge is just a short drive to everything. The Woods is one of the top golf courses in the state, with a wonderful spa, hiking trails, and a restaurant/pub as well. And the town of Berkeley Springs has been voted one of the top arts communities in the US, with dozens of shops and restaurants, and even a brewery and winery! House was in a secluded wooded area about 30 minutes from most things. Hot tub was a great bonus. However the house has alot of wear/issues and was not the cleanest. We are used to wooded areas as we have a cabin in Upper michigan but there was mice running around in the cabin the first night with no mouse traps, (I actually had to block/tape a doorway that they were getting in from) I did ask for traps but I guess maintenance did not have mouse traps so they were going to send pest control but no one ever came. The cabin itself was in rougher shape than I would have thought - one bedroom door is missing and the hose does not reach the deck or bonfire, so we couldn’t clean off the deck furniture. It was also not as clean as I would have hoped- especially given that some reviews mention how clean it was. There weren’t just a few spots that had been missed, dirt/dust/etc has clearly been building up for months. ##### Hillary C.
