"Our bathroom very clean but could do with a update bath needs up dating very hard to get in and out ,chipped enamel. Also rooms could do with walk in showers."

"Lovely hotel and the room was fantastic. The complimentary items were a great surprise! Location is ideal and safe. Staff very friendly. Only thing I’d improve would be the cost of parking for guests as at £14 a night it’s quite steep."

"Clean room which was very comfortable. Nice little extras like the proper Yorkshire tea and local shortbread biscuits. Loved the nod to the areas history in the art work so didn’t feel like a typical chain hotel, felt a little bit like a boutique hotel. Staff were very helpful. Food and service in the bar was good too. Would definitely stay there again"
