4 bedroom accommodation in Milfield Hill, Wooler
10/10 Excellent
"Till Cottage: A Serene Retreat in Rural NorthumberlandThis beautifully appointed four-bedroom cottage proved to be the perfect base for our family holiday. The property's thoughtful layout spans two floors, offering exceptional space and comfort throughout.Accommodation:The sleeping arrangements are particularly well-suited for families or groups, comprising two twin rooms and two double bedrooms. One of the double rooms benefits from an en-suite bathroom, whilst two additional bathrooms ensure morning routines run smoothly even with a full house. The bedroom configuration provides excellent flexibility for different group compositions.Living Spaces:The ground floor is dominated by a genuinely impressive lounge, featuring a Smart TV and remarkably fast WiFi—which handled our family's considerable digital demands with ease, including three teenagers simultaneously using their tablets whilst Netflix streamed. The upstairs kitchen is a particular highlight: spacious, well-equipped, and perfect for family meals. The adjacent utility room, though compact, offers convenient laundry facilities that proved invaluable during our stay.Location:Whilst decidedly rural—something we considered a significant advantage—the cottage's position makes it an ideal staging post for exploring Northumberland's varied attractions. We enjoyed numerous day trips to the coast and discovered some spectacular drives to local landmarks. The peaceful setting provides a welcome respite from urban life, allowing for genuine relaxation.Additional Notes:The owner's communication deserves special mention, being both prompt and helpful. The detailed directions provided were particularly appreciated, making what could have been a challenging arrival at this secluded location straightforward and stress-free.Overall Impression:Till Cottage offers an excellent blend of comfort, space, and modern amenities whilst retaining its rural charm. Its remote location, far from being a disadvantage, enhances the experience of a truly peaceful holiday. The property's size, layout, and facilities make it particularly well-suited for families or groups seeking a comfortable base from which to explore Northumberland's many attractions.Highly recommended for those seeking a spacious, well-appointed holiday home in a tranquil setting."

"Just perfect, all you need for a comfortable stay. We loved coming back to the cottage and relaxing in the living room, after a day out. The pub, just a hop and skip away, does delicious food. There is a cafe across the road too. Lots of places to visit roundabout. We really enjoyed our stay at Whitton view."
