The cabins were quaint but updated tastefully. All higher end hotel like linens, towels, shampoos etc. Very close driving to a small beach, walking boardwalk, and many restaurants.
Only reason i did not give it full 5 stars in all categories because it was really hot and unit had only 1 small ac. If i had asked however, they would have moved us, or given us another unit. Lively small getaway, perfect

Very little aid to a first time visitor to block island. No mention of beach towels; had to ask specifically for key and room number when it wasn't offered after we checked in. Music in bar started at 5am on a Tuesday morning and no one was around to turn it off. Could be heard for hours in our room with no one around to open up the bar and turn it off. No accommodation or apology given. No food or coffee around. Better to stay across the street at Spring House Hotel where you could find a breakfast sandwich and coffee. Beautiful space for drinks on the lawn but that doesn't make up for the very, very laid back nature of everyone who works here.

Love that the hotel is right on the beach and had beach front rooms. Parking was difficult to find, once we found a place to park we didn’t move our car for fear of not being able to find parking again. Room is a little dated, could have been cleaner and better maintained. No housekeeping services are provided unless you call and request. Could have provided better service and cleaner rooms for the amount they charge for small rooms. You’re paying for beach view and location which we knew when we booked. Maggie’s gift store was great. Owner was very friendly and offered some really cute clothing, jewelry, etc. The hotel charges a resort fee which this hotel in my opinion isn’t a resort and not much different than the other beach hotels in the area which don’t charge the resort fee.
