"This was an amazing place to stay! I didn’t realize I had a 1-bedroom unit and that was awesome. They have 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom units with a fireplace! Full kitchen, clean, quiet, and location was perfect in Banner Elk. My new go-to mountain retreat-away-from home!"

"We had a great time! The house was very comfortable and had all of the supplies that we needed. The porch was so nice and the hot tub was awesome! This area is within 30 mins of a lot different places: Linville Falls, blowing rock, banner elk, and Boone."

"Really good location. Close to Sugar Mountain and a short drive to Banner elk. Great communication with the host! We had a little trouble with the door code getting in, but it was quickly resolved. Had everything we needed for our three nights stay. It was such a nice bonus having the air conditioning in the rooms for sleeping at night and not having to sleep with the sliding glass doors open."

"Location was great! The house desperately needs a few things. There were screens missing from doors which made it difficult to get airflow as there is no central a/c, couldnt leave doors open without letting mosquitoes and flies in. The washer doesnt spin the water out (even after 2 spin cycles), and the dryer took almost 3 hours to dry 1 load. The place overall was beautiful! But does need a good top to bottom cleaning (walls/doors in bathrooms and by kitchen trash were dirty). Kitchen cabinet hardware on several drawers/doors broken. Livingroom rug with mult stains. The location was perfect! The owners were upfront about the STEEP driveway (thank you for that!). The water was dangerously hot! May want to consider some box fans during hot summer visits as the bedroom window units are not enough to cool down such a big space and cant keep doors open without screens. Overall, the price was reasonable for the accommodations."
