We had a very relaxing stay in the beautiful village of Hawes. Steppe Haugh is certainly quirky, but that only adds to its charm. It is also spacious, comfortable, well appointed and spotlessly clean. We loved it here and would recommend it highly. The hosts have thought of everything and there is great attention to detail. The welcome pack was much appreciated. This is a real home from home and even our nervous rescue dog was relaxed. We were able to enjoy great walks straight from the door. The house is so well equipped, they thought of everything. We loved the quirky layout. Ideally positioned for outdoor activities and points of interests. Walking distance of shops, pubs and restaurants. We took two dogs too, and they had a ball. The garden was not quite secure enough for our lurcher who decided the neighbours garden was his too! Other than that, we see no reason not to return.
