Go 3 miles to Hardraw Force, England's highest unbroken waterfall, but be prepared for a little splash! For more waterfalls and woodland hikes, head 10 miles to Aysgarth Falls. Take in the sweeping valleys and rugged fells from the summit of Buttertubs Pass. Stretch your legs with a short climb, or simply enjoy a scenic drive over the pass into Swaledale, where artsy shops and walking trails await. When it's time to slow down, visit the pretty village of Hawes (0.5 miles) for a morning coffee at a cosy cafe, a wholesome pub lunch, or a trip to the Wensleydale Creamery for a few savoury treats.


Pause for a moment before stepping inside this storybook cottage and take in its charming facade, with traditional stone walls, classic mullion windows, and a backdrop of lush greenery.
