Our staff is always ready to help but if you do not look for interaction, they will respect your privacy. Cleaning is done everyday. It won t happen if you stay in the room.As for the water pressure we will check it out, but note that Cuba is a third world country with very poor infrastructures. There is NO water pressure in havana. Everything relies on small pumps and gravity. Hila Herkosvitch is the worst client we ever had! She came to Cuba without any cash (not a good idea) She asked us to pay 50US for her cab which we did to save her from an embarassing situation. She asked and had breakfast She asked, among other services that we wash her clothes which we did. When came the time to pay her note she became abusive and rude. We had to wait all day for her to find money. After she checked out, later at night she wrote us obscenities and false accusations.All this is really unfortunate.We wish Hila good luck.

Hello Anonymous, Thank you for your comments, I am sorry if the cleaning lady did not clean your room everyday. I will make sure that does not happen again. The Hostal does have 24-7 wi-fi connection. You affirmation is simply untrue. Maybe you did not buy an Internet access card from the state server. (Every internet access in Cuba goes trough an Internet access card sold by the state owned telecommunication company Etecsa) There are people in the Hostal that speak English-Spanish-French and some even speak the three languages. If you were not able to communicate, you just had to ask for someone who does speak English and you would have been satisfied. We do not limit quantities at breakfast. We serve eggs, ham, bread, butter, jam, cheese, milk, fresh fruits, coffee, tea, smoothies, etc... in the amount you wish. You just had to ask for more! The room you were transferred to was the room you rented which is the most economical one. If you wanted a private balcony, you had to do your reservation accordingly and pay a little more.
