Clean and tastefully decorated
Overall good impression, but a bit mixed feellings about breakfast: first morning we got very little coffee (less then half of small cup) and we told if we wantef more coffee we need to pay. On second day we had twice more food, three times more coffee and everything looked and tasted great. Room is tidy and quite spacious, but customary for Cuban houses, small window in the room, so very little natural light of ventilation. The surrounding area is interesting: a mix ruined houses and 5* hotels

Beautiful Casa in Havana
Beautiful Casa. Clean and spacious with a great sized bathroom too. They also made us some breakfast, even though we had a very early check out at 5.30am. Would recommend and would stay again.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place!
This hostal is a gem! Rooms are clean and impeccable. Decoration is gorgeous. Sandra and everyone who works there make you feel at home. I’ll definitely stay there again!

I loved the "Malecon" room
Great, clean place near the Malecon! I stayed in the "Malecon" room with king bed and balcony and really loved it. VERY clean and a very nice, English-speaking staff. Hairdryer, towels, shampoo, bath soap and refrigerator provided. The breakfast consists of one cup of coffee, fruit, a smoothie and bread/butter. If you'd like more, it is available at a cost. The only issue I had was that sometimes someone would turn on the hall light in the middle of the night and it would wake me up, since the doors have frosted glass. Otherwise, really great stay.

My mother-in law stayed there. The house was very clean, and the personal service was good. The location is close to everything, so I definitely recommend this place to everyone!

lovely, quiet boutique hotel in Vedado
Hostal Calis Habana was a great place to stay on our first visit to Havana, full of helpful and kind staff such as Sandra and Indira. It feels more like a boutique hotel than a casa particular. Though Vedado requires a taxi ride to Habana Vieja and the centro, unless you're up for a lot of walking (we were), it is a quiet and clean part of the city. The home has been nicely restored, and it is walkable to good restaurants. If you're looking for a serene, lovely space away from the bustle of the old city, you have found your place.

The location is very convenient. The property is well maintained and the staff are phenomenal, all of them were helpful, polite and always pleasant. Even despite an island wide power failure they maintained their composure and really looked after all the guests. Sandra, Arlety, Melissa and Indira were very nice and made the stay in Cuba a pleasant one. I will return to Cuba and will stay at Hostal Calis.

This place is very beautiful and the staff is super friendly and helpful I do recommend getting your own ride there from the airport the taxi driver they send is pretty expensive other than that I loved this place definitely will stay here again !!

Stunning casa in Havana
Hostal Calis Habana is in a quiet street within walking distance of restaurants and the Malecon. The house is beautiful with plenty of rooms and very comfortable. The owners are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, one of the best on our trip.

The property is so beautiful and in an amazing location. The staff were all friendly and made us feel welcome, getting to know them was the best part of our stay. They are attentive, intelligent and knowledgeable about all things Cuba. There was always someone who spoke English. They offered an amazing Valentines dinner that was the most romantic and delicious dinner of my life! The bar was great and the breakfast that’s included was perfect. I will stay here next time I’m in Havana.

Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful stay, 10 minutes away by cab to the town. The place is well kept and nicely decorated. We felt like home. The staff are helpful, with special mention to Anita who answered to all our needs. The breakfast spread was excellent with an egg done to any style, toasts, fresh fruits, fresh juice and a pot of aromatic Cuban coffee! We decided to stay with them again after our return from 2 nights in the Viñales. They were nice to keep our big suitcase for us while we were away.

Convenient, gorgeous, authentic local place!
Completely surpassed my expectations! Everything about this place is delightful! You won't miss any of the usual supplies; breakfast so rich and fresh (best I had in any hotel across the world! I mean it!), and the staff is really kind and helpful in guiding you through an authentic local experience. If you are on a business trip, the place itself is quite a sight, the architecture and the view from the balcony, the bar, the restaurants of the area, just perfect to sit, relax, and get things done over a mojito! Definitely coming back next year!

Excellently arranged room, very clean and comfortable, with cozy combination of modern and colonian tastes. Very good service. Just sometimes something insufficient, such as TV reception, WiFi coverage, hot water in shower.

Nice cosy small hotel
Clean and cozy room and has helpful and kind staff. The breakfast was also nice. The water and the drinks very very expensive compare to shops in Havana.

Hola, buenas tardes desde Republica Dominicana,saludos de ANGEL REYES y mi nina KAMILA ZOE,mi hija y yo vijamos a cuba para citas consular en la embajada de NORUEGA,para nuestra suerte en el transcurso de busqueda de reservar un hotel nos encontramos con este hostal y desde nuestra reservacion hasta nuestra estadia el trato y la atencion fue de total atencion hacia nosotros... A nuestra llegada CUBA , La sra SANDRA con muy buen trato y hospitalidad hacia nosotros a nuestra llegada a el HOSTAL el personal de servicio muy eficiente,las habitaciones estan a la altura de muy buena comododiad ,aire acondicionado,tv,WIFI,nevera ejecutiva,caja fuerte,todo muy completo en la habitacion,el area de cocina todo muy higienico, desayuno bastante completo,la casa hostal esta muy bien cuidada y bastante higienica. Les doy su 5 estrella y les recomiendo que si van a viajar a cuba opten por este Hostal.
