The home was very welcoming. It was decorated very cute for the holidays and the host was great. They even left presents at the front door. All in all it was 5 stars for the effort and thoughtfulness. I feel as though there was an honest effort to make the stay accommodating and welcoming. However, to give an honest review I will say a few things that would have made it better. There was a ton of food in the fridge and freezer and although this was offered to us to use, there was not much room for our food in the fridge. Coming for the holiday, we planned to do some cooking to bring to our holiday parties. In the bathroom, there was also a ton of products again available to use, but made it difficult to find a place to put our shampoo and conditioner bottles as well as our bath sponges. There was way too much of other people stuff in the way. Lastly, I was happy to rent a non-pet friendly house due to allergies, cleanliness, and odor, but there was dog hair all over the sheets and they did not smell clean. We slept on top on the bed covers and used our own blanket to cover. I did not report and I am sure they would have addressed these issues but we did not stay long and I really feel there was an effort in the accommodations. I would stay again.
