Lovely bach right at the beach.
We barely arrived when my teen was exclaiming, "this is the best holiday home we've ever been to". And it is. A lovely home with all the usual amenities, plus a porch and giant backyard. The kids absolutely loved running free. And the ocean is just across the road. We had a great week and really enjoyed exploring the area.

Beach Side Batch
Overall not a bad little batch. Great for a big group with a fenced backyard for kids to run around. The house and furnishings are well loved. The downstairs bed (which I slept in) needs to be updated as you roll to the middle. There is also no plugs in that room to charge anything. The couches are old and sitting on wooden planks but everything is functionable. The beach is rocky and not suitable for kids to swim in but morning walks along the pathway is lovely. Close to both Hastings and Napier but get the peace and quiet of a small village.

Perfect getaway for the family
We enjoyed 2 beautiful nights at this property, what a fantastic wee spot. The setup was perfect for our 2 small families and the kids enjoyed biking on the cycleway.

A great locality, shame about the cold wet weather. We booked the house due to its easy access to the cycling tracks. Would like to come back and continue exploring the cycle tracks

Great property for a group, right on the beach..
We had a wee hiccup to start with, where the cleaning team had forgotten to clean before our arrival, but the property manager sorted everything out promptly, and the stay itself was great. Plenty of room for everyone, and good kitchen tools and supplies so we could cook and serve meals. Lovely hearing the sounds of the sea as you fall asleep! Would happily stay again anytime.

The house is very big and there´s really enough space for a family with children, very comfortable rooms. Great location across the sea, the view is great, especially the sunrise. Absolutely recommendable!

We had a beautiful stay! Waking up to lovely sea views. Our weather was rough but the home came with plenty of heating including a downstairs fire and provided wood , multiple heaters. 2 bathrooms with great pressure in the showers. The house had everything we needed including extra towels and blankets. Kitchen supplies were in full. Thankyou very much for letting us stay in your beautiful home. Highly recommend

150 Beach Road
This house past its used by date. It is old, dirty, grotty and was never cleaned prior to us staying there. The carpet is old and dirty. No floors were cleaned prior to us staying there. The kitchen was dirty the oven hop just got a wipe over and not cleaned properly. the toaster still had crumbs on from the previous tenants. The sheets I suspect were just put back on without being washed the smelt. Over all very poor.

Great location
This property is in a great location however we unfortunately were hit with bad weather during our stay so did not get to enjoy it. The house definitely needs some upgrading, in particular the carpet and things like the taped window in the bottom bathroom. Otherwise, good facilities and huge outdoor space.

Perfect location!
My friends and I loved having this as our home base for exploring the local beach, wineries, pub, and other sights. Well equipped house and lovely friendly communication. There was so much space for backyard games then evening board games indoors, top it all off by falling asleep to the wild waves crashing... we didn't want to go home!!

House is in a great location and spacious. The beds , couches and linen were all dirty and uncomfortable and in my opinion need to be replaced . If I had a set of sheets I would have replaced them I did not want to sleep on them. The kitchen was well fitted out and the bathrooms clean . There is no dryer but used the fire to dry our washing. The wineries are closed on Monday and Tuesday which was a shame as that’s when we were here. This house is crying out for a make over and it’s in the perfect location.

Good Family Beach Stay
The house was very comfortable for our family reunion - the kids got their own room! The local Foursquare store was less than a block away and wine tasting just down the road. We rented bicycles, fed penguins in Napier, and loved the location.

Great stay last year. Would have loved to be back again this year but the dates we needed were already booked. So handy to shops and local pub. Centrally located between Hastings, Napier & Havelock. Two toilets and showers were great for two families.

Nice enough place to stay. Beds are very bouncy, games room is no more. Powerpoints are a bit scarce in the rooms. Otherwise the house is lovely and warm, kitchen is good, house was clean, being right on the beach is great. And only a short walk to the pub and 4 square.

Our family found this place to be a great home to stay in. It was warm and cozy, lovely indoor/outdoor flow. The large backyard added to the privacy, and there was plenty of parking. Just across the road to the beach, and a short walk to the shops. Would definitely stay there again 😃
