The area exudes tranquility, space, and pure beauty, while also offering plenty of opportunities for enjoyable outings and unique experiences. Within a short distance are the charming Hanseatic towns of Hattem and Zwolle, where you can shop to your heart's content, dine extensively, or relax on a sunny terrace. The IJssel River and Veluwemeer are also nearby. On warm days, this is the ideal place to enjoy the beach, take a refreshing swim, or rent a boat for a leisurely day on the water.

For fishing enthusiasts, Tom's Creek, just five minutes from the accommodation, comes highly recommended. About a twenty-minute drive away is Walibi: the amusement park for an unforgettable day full of adventure with the whole family.

In the surrounding villages and towns, there's plenty of atmosphere to be found during the summer, with cozy markets and fun events. For children, there’s more than enough to experience as well, such as a day swimming at the subtropical pool De Veldkamp, playing at Ballorig Hattem, or exploring in the Gnome Forest."
