The staff is very friendly although she can't speak English. The owner can speak English. The room and surrounding is very clean. The room is spacious and comfortable. They provide an electronic kettle and sachets of coffee. Hair dryer is provided too. There is a small fridge too. Simple breakfast is provided. There is a local market just walking distance away. Things are cheap. I am very satisfied with the price paid to stay here. Quite possibly the best guesthouse/hostel type accommodation I have ever stayed in! My room was better than a lot of 3\* hotels. I really don't think there is a better place to stay in Hat Yai for the same price. The room was super clean (housekeeping is available everyday) and decorated with what looked like brand new furniture, the pictures don't lie. I had a big balcony which is a big bonus. Plus, the AC didn't smell bad at all like a lot of other places in Thailand. The small number of staff who work here are super nice and even though they don't speak much English were a delight to be around, always smiling :) The different style Teddie bears found all around the guest house are also very sweet and makes Little Bear Guesthouse unique. Would I recommend it here?
