"Well, it was clean and simple. Not a fancy place but not ran down either. Management was helpful and friendly. It was great that it was pet friendly and having the pet area really nice. Only problem we had was no stopper for the bath tub, my husband doesn't like showers."

"Wonderful experience! The cabin was warm, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed and more. My dad and I especially loved relaxing by the pellet stove after long days on the river. The attention to detail was impressive, right down to the first aid kit, which even included a tourniquet (arguably one of the most important things to have in a remote fishing cabin!). The location was perfect, centrally situated near some of the best fishing spots in the area. Communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base for our fishing trip and are already planning our next trip up there. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"The house is a wonderful place of rest after 2 days of visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park. It is located very close to the park entrance, Manzanita Lake and Loomis museum. Groceries can be purchased in nearby Shingletown. All the comforts of home are in this beautifully decorated cabin."

"Had a wonderful time even though the fish hatchery was closed so the creeks weren’t being stocked. Had everything we needed at the house. Went to Mt. Lassen, Subway Caves, Fall River Mills, and fished every day."
