Great cottage, convenient location
We stayed at the cottage in late September and had a great time. The cottage is large, clean and well furnished. Location is convenient, relatively close to Bancroft but still quite quiet.

Quiet & Secluded Beautiful Rental
The property was amazing with a lot of space (inside & outside), modern decor, great amenities, and incredibly peaceful. Loved the hot tub, kayaks/canoe, fire pit, and games included. Lake is small & shallow but great for kayaking. The owner answered all questions immediately and the entire stay was awesome. Sad to leave.

Girls’ cottage getaway
This was our first summer getaway at a cottage. In the past, we have always camped. As such, and given the steep rental fee, we were expecting luxurious accommodation (by comparison), with all the amenities. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The cottage was spacious and reasonably clean, but the kitchen was not particularly well-equipped, and the bathrooms were not stocked with bathing supplies or many towels, as advertised. Our biggest disappointment was the poor water access and quality. The shoreline was mucky, full of algae and fallen trees and very shallow. There appeared to be a couple of floating docks on the property, but they were on land, upside down, 50 m from the shore. It was a hot, humid week and we did not swim even once, nor did we see any of the neighbours in the water. We did use the kayaks (okay) and canoe (terrible) on one occasion. Thankfully, we came equipped with our own board games, kitchen tools, beach towels and yoga mats and had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Hi Maureen, Thank you for your comments. We have successfully operated this short term rental for over a year with 100+ stays, and nothing short of a 5 star review/stay. Our team puts in a ton of time into preparing the property and ensuring every little detail in order to provide perfect stays for our guests. Our kitchen is fully equipped and we provide enough towels depending on the amount of guests that are indicated in the booking. As for the shoreline, the lake starts off shallow, though gets deeper as you go further into the lake. Many past guests and neighbours use the lake to swim daily during the Summer months. We understand that swimming in the lake may not be everyone's cup of tea, and some prefer to relax on the dock and enjoy the view, while others also have the option of enjoying our luxurious hot tub! As indicated we have a consistent 5 star rating, as we provide consistent 5 star stays. We hope you give us another shot to make things better. Thank you

This place was beautiful, clean, and had lots of fun activities to do. When we had to add a person last minute to our stay, the property manager was so kind and it wasn't an issue at all.

Perfect getaway cabin
Our family of 6 loved our stay at the cabin—we were there during snow season, and the location was magical! The roadways were cleared and the setting was like something from Narnia. The house was clean, the furniture and beds were comfortable, the decor was tasteful, there was ample warmth and hot water (it’s not pictured, but the outdoor hot tub was awesome!), and being there made me want to come back again to enjoy the fire pit and lake when it’s not frozen over. Ping pong, foosball table, a few board games, an Xbox…there was plenty to do in the house for kids and teens. Only drawbacks: no washer and dryer (laundromat is only 15 minutes away) and extra towels would have been nice, but other than that, it was a 10/10. We really loved our stay, and Mustafa was an excellent host and answered our questions promptly.
