Harvey Cedars Sunset Park

I cannot believe we paid over $500 per night for this property ( mgm tower) at the Borgata. First before we checked in, they offered us an upgrade for a fee. We took it but upon arrival we found out the upgraded room was in the original Borgata which is NOT what we wanted which is why we booked the mgm tower. In order to stay at the mgm tower, we had to pay the upgraded price for the Original Room!!! What a shady thing to do! You cannot order room service and expect real dishes or silver ware unless you spend at least $100. Try eating cold over easy eggs in the morning in a take out container. And coffee in to go cups ( which was cold by the way). All that for $75.00. Outrageous. The pool area is a sloppy mess. No rhyme or reason if chairs are available or not. A complete mess plus an $18.00 watermelon/feta salad in a very small take out bowl. I don’t know what happened to this property. Used to be the most upscale hotel in AC but no more.

Great stay at Ocean City Mansion. The lobby is beautiful and smells great. Easy check in and out. The beds are so comfortable. Lots of pillows and towels. The Nespresso was great. It would have been nice to have some creamers and sugar. The hotel was also lacking an area for garbage. Small trash can in the bathroom filled up fast and the same one was in the lobby overflowing.

It was a good peaceful property with good neighbourhood. I just wished it was a little more cleaner. We arrived late on the property and checkin was smooth, except we were provided wrong keypad code but it was quickly resolved upon a call to the host. When we entered the floor was dusty and vac smelling due to some prior debris in it. I recommend booking it, if you want a good peaceful time but do check on cleanliness prior to arrival.
