We had a small double room so the bed was up to the wall but it was comfortable and we had a fan provided as it was hot weather Booked a parking spot which was available when we arrived . Breakfast was fresh and plentiful

We stayed for 4 nights at The Crown and relly enjoyed it.Sept.22-25. We booked jast minutte and managed to secure the last room.Very spacios room with usual facilities,no vie from window worth talking about,but hey!Roomwas worm with no heating on.All nice and clean,sserviced daily. We dined in the restaurant,full English etc.available.SEvening meals were excellent,same menu all week,but enough choice to stisfy.Don t know whether vegan/vegetarian available.Staff were friendly and helpful(I have a severe visual impairment) Loved the hotels position in town.

This is an amazing building situated in a very convenient place. It is rather dated however, the breakfasts weren’t as good as they could be and there is limited parking. Would go back just because of location really.

Whilst decor is a little dated the room was spacious and clean as was the bathroom. It was nice to have a decent sized bathroom! We had an exec double as we had our daughter with us and there was plenty of room for us all. Breakfast was excellent quality and good choice - we ate in The Place. All the staff were excellent and very helpful. We would definitely use again as the location was great for the town and also getting out and about.
