Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom abode is a great choice for a family or friends, especially if holidaying with a dog. With immaculate, modern accommodation and a sun-soaked courtyard garden, this Middlesmoor retreat, which is 7.5 miles from Pateley Bridge, is also the perfect place to return to after days spent exploring the magnificent Yorkshire Dales.

Step up and in to find yourselves in an entrance hall, where you can leave your outerwear. Head into the lounge/kitchen/diner to chat to the chef in your party as you relax with a cup of fresh coffee from the machine on the soft seating. Help chop and stir in the generous kitchen area then set the table for your holiday feast. Carry a cup of tea and slice of Yorkshire parkin into the lounge with you so you can find a good film on the Smart TV for everyone to enjoy together later on. There is a convenient WC downstairs. When you are ready to turn in for the night, climb the stairs to the first floor, where your bedrooms are located. Here you will find two king-sizes, one with an en-suite shower room, plus a twin. The twin has zip-and-link beds that can also be made up as a king-size by prior arrangement. The family bathroom is also here. Have breakfast out in the courtyard garden on summer mornings. Dine out here too on warm evenings and share a bottle of wine as the sun goes down. There is off-road parking for two cars.

Lace up your walking boots and follow a stretch of the scenic Nidderdale Way right from the village. Plan a trip to see the impressive Coldstones Cut sculpture, with its tremendous views, 10.5 miles away.
