"We were there for a conference and the room wasn’t ready. Check in was at 4 we arrived at 5:30 and room wasn’t ready until 7:30. No accommodations were made. There was no iron in the room, the TV didn’t work either. Was not a good experience. And we felt like they didn’t care. "

Today’s rental properties often come fully equipped with the same amenities as a home, including washers, dryers, and dishwashers. The key difference that typically sets hotels apart is the expectation of a clean, refreshed space each day. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I requested housekeeping service for my room three separate times, but it was never cleaned. As a result, trash began to pile up and used towels were left sitting, creating an uncomfortable environment. I don’t understand how hotels can fall short in the one area that should be their greatest strength, which is providing guests with a clean, relaxing space to return to."

"I asked to have our room cleaned and fresh towels delivered. We were out most of the day but after arriving back at 8 pm housekeeping still hadn’t come. They didn’t come until after 9pm and by that time we were ready for bed. "

"Nice appliances, kitchenette and TV. Good AC. 4 floors; no elevator (out of order). Hand carry your (up the stairs). If you like roaches there’s plenty of them. But way too friendly. If you’re eating, don’t put it down. Hold on to it. Otherwise, they will try to steal it from you. Nice flat TV but no signal for any channels. Toilet required 6-8 flushes per use. A lot of wasted water. "
