Shady Potts Point Cottage Cooled by Ocean Breezes

Quaint, old fashioned and lovely cottage, shaded by huge trees and cooled by off-shore breezes in historic Potts Point. Start the day with a cup of coffee while curled up on the glassed-in side porch with a book, end the day watching the sunset over the water from the front porch. Wander to the beach or buy lobsters straight off the boat at Erica's at the Dolphin Marina. Take in the lobster boat races after a short walk to Pott's Point. Enjoy farmers markets, restaurants and the Maine State Music Theater in Brunswick and then come home to the peace of Harpswell.

Beautiful Maine Stay

This cottage was very cozy and was in a great spot for quiet, relaxing walks to the ocean. It was very clean, and had everything we needed as we were only there for a quick day and a half. The only downside was the beds were not made and we had to make them ourselves which was annoying since it was late when we got to the house.

The charm of this historical home can't be beat!

Charming cottage with water views

Very well appointed cottage, close to water access in lovely area of Harpswell, ME. Lots to see and do nearby (kids will be happy on the nearby beach and the cottage has toys, games and videos.) Adults can enjoy local preserve trails, boat ramp is close, or just sit on the lovely front porch and relax. Several local eating places or everything necessary to prepare meals onsite. Perfect spot from which to experience the Maine coast.

Perfect in every way

Sisters and friends get together every year at this time. Wonderful location. We walked to Pott's Point, ate lobster rolls AND cooked lobster. People so friendly. Cottage clean and we loved both the front porch and the sunny screened porch for our morning coffee. Lovely!

Potts Point Perfection

Our third stay at Molly’s wonderful house. Everything about it suits us. We love unwinding on the porch and in the hammock and digging out the old fisher price collection for the kiddos. Sunsets and tide pools and seaglass in the quiet of the neighborhood makes for the perfect Maine summer trip. Thank you for sharing your special house with us!

We had another wonderful stay at the Pott's Point cottage. So many laughs, wonderful sunsets, hiking and kayaking. The cottage makes you feel so relaxed. Unique property and location

Very quiet area this time of year. It was super peaceful with little to no traffic. If you want to unplug from city living it is a great place. The sunroom is comfortable. TV is just DVD's, so you need to be ready for quiet or really like movies. Great views even in the fog. Have a rental car and be ready to drive. Best stop is Pammy's for Ice Cream...nicest people in the world own this little shop down the street.

My Happy Place

Third year renting here, with more years to come. While we were there the area experienced unusually strong thunderstorms, which lead to county-wide power outages (owner was wonderful keeping us updated). But you know you've found a very special place when your whole family still has an amazing time (even a moody preteen without wifi!) This place is homey and cozy. A pure gem!

Perfect getaway

Last minute long weekend getaway with the kids. It was absolutely perfect! Cottage had everything anyone could need or want and was very clean and welcoming. Truly felt like home away from home! Absolutely loved the short walk to Potts Point Preserve where we were so lucky to witness a breathtaking sunset. Was a short and scenic drive to the Desert of Maine in Freeport, which was a great time as well! Can’t wait to do it again next year! Best part for me, as a busy mom with 3 kids, was getting to sit in the lovely glassed in porch and read a book - dream come true!

Loved it in 2018, loved it even more in 2023

Perfect for families who want to slow down and relax on vacation. The cottage is so welcoming and very comfortable - it’s like staying at a old friend’s house. One day the biggest decision was where to relax - rocking on the porch, swinging in the hammock, or lounging in the sunroom (this tired mom managed to enjoy all 3!). Especially appreciate all the toys, games and puzzles - perfect for a rainy day - kept the kids occupied (with no arguing) all day! The area is perfect for exploring - we spent a few hours at Potts Point and Seaglass Beach. Thank you for sharing such a special place. We will be back soon - wish we hadn’t stayed away so long!

This was a wonderful property. Location was great, can easily walk to attractions and restaurants. It was very clean and host was quick to reply. Checkin was easy and they were there waiting with the keys. Since the location is central it was noisy at night.

Excellent stay, again!

This was our family’s second stay at Molly’s sweet cottage. It has been maintained very well over its many years, and provides the perfect setting for a weeklong getaway in one of our favorite places. We would love to return again, soon!
